Am I taking crazy pills?

I didn't want to write this in the auctions forum and screw over any possible sales but is it just me or are the alien blasters not all that great? Sure the stats are good but DPS and survivability are two main concerns of an archer and the blasters don't really offer anything that is better than a level 45 Pharaohs crossbow. The DPS is less and the stats in most cases are a wash. So am I crazy?

PS Incase you want to bring up the Ryylox alien blaster 3m/s 1 extra crit and 1 extra dex isnt worth the 500k price tag imo; you will still be doing a negligible difference in DPS, possibly less still.

I totally agree with you. Snipers scarab gets you 100ish dps. Alien blaster? 70ish. This makes a huge difference when attempting to kill bosses

eh, the 500k price tag is for the cool factor :)

but it's ok, my bow bear is still cool with a Sniper's Scarab :)
