By going into SL general discussion, searching for it, others posting their costumes and it going into new posts, etc. The thread will keep itself up if people want to be a part of it, if not, then it shouldn't be up there. Bumping it countless times isn't the polite thing to do. I understand you want this contest to be a hit, but bumping it multiple times isn't the best way to do so:)
