STS no longer allowing the free to play farmers to farm energy for next event

I'm confused why start has a problem with the "middle class" aka farmers to farm and craft energy for the upcoming events, there is no harm in them farming for what they can't buy, most of my friends in game farm for everything they have, start pls remember the middle class keeps the economy alive!!!!!
