Holiday Emotes?

I was thinking what if we were able to earn special emotes from special holidays/events like christmas, Halloween, thanksgiving, new years, and etc.
These emotes could be bought(which I give a thumbs down), earned from a task, from quest, or just given at log in.
So I would like all of you to help by giving me your thought on this idea. Thoughts on how they could be earned, thoughts on how to get them, thoughts on even if this should be done at all. I'm open to any ideas even if they are negative thoughts.

Earning emotes is a great idea. I personally woudnt spend plat on them, but if devs give them out in instances and you wave to get them. This is a great idea!

Yep, I thought of it, too. For Valentine's Day I suggested a four-pack: one-knee proposal, blow a kiss (they took that one), give valentine, and I don't recall the third idea. It was cool to see one of the emotes get accepted.

As for "earning" things that normally cost plat, well... I don't know. The devs gotta eat, too.
