Ok been doing units and conversions with my daughter and thought I'd see if anyone was able to work this out.

To the nearest cubic centimetre, how much soil is there in a 3.375metre x 2.544metre x 2.125metre hole?

How old is your daughter? Wouldn't you just multiply all those for the volume and then the volume would be the soil?

If u count rounding them first, then I believe the answer is 18, if ur rounding it after u get the final answer, then I can't find any paper to work out on lol.

EDIT: nvm it says nearest cubic centimetre which, I nay be wrong is, I think 18000 cm or 180cm (cubed)

EDIT: EDIT: if calculator is allowed then multiply all 3 numbers, then I think it's 1m (cubed) = 1000cm or 100cm (cubed), so times the number by 100 and round to nearest whole number

EDIT: EDIT: EDIT: haha wrong again :p1m (cubed) = 100cm (cubed) = 100x100x100 = 1000000 cm

There would be no cubic centimeters of dirt...IN the hole.

There would be 18,245 cubic centimeters of dirt OUT of the hole however, lol.

Well played.

If my math is correct i would say it's approximately 18,245 centimeters^3

EDIT: Ah true moog, should have read it better lol

If I did all that at 11:30 pm and moogs theory of it not being in the hole is correct... I'm gonna die :p
