You have to or do you get a message to? I'm not sure because I am on iPod touch. You probably need to delete and reinstall

You may want to try these steps on your android devices if you are having an issue with the game after or during updating:
- Uninstall Pocket Legends
- Clear Marketplace Data
- Re-Install Pocket Legends
