I'VE BEEN TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO GRAPH THIS FOR 2 HOURS STRAIGHT!!!!! SOmeone PLEASE help me I can't figure this out and right now I'm just mad of how stupid I am :/

I need help ASAP

did you try the quadratic equation?
it might have no solution set :/
i don't know if this helps, but there's a 8:4:3 relationship between the variables

On a calculator?

its impossible to do on a calculator...unless you have a super awesome graphing calculator that is super rare and costs A LOT of money XD

Take the Square away by square rooting the square. And then proceed to combine like-terms? I see math differently than everyone else :P

Well i dont know if there is something you need to do exactly with it but you could easily graph it on a graphing calculator.

rage quit

show all your work, then lightly scribble it all out, not blacking it all out
then below it, show a stick man comitting suicide

or draw a giraffe at the bottom, and have it negotiate with the teacher about letting it give you a better grade.

I'm supposed to learn it without using a graphing calculator.

Ok. Here r the steps
Step 1) Drop everything and play PL!

Can't do that, b/c it's graphing.

Anyway, haven't done any of these in... two years now? I'll go figure out how to do the work. Just got some images off a graphing calculator if you want to check.

EDIT:

Right, pretty sure I got it.

Find the X-Ints, plot em.
Find the multiplicity of each one, if it's even, it touches the x axis without crossing. if it's odd, it touches it and then will cross.
Differentiate. 3x^2 + 4*2x = 0 is what it will become. Find the slope at each point, you want to find when the slope is zero. That will give you your vertices.

Connect the dots, left to right.

I don't remember that stuff, but there's an easier way to do 25 squared (or any n5 square). (from your sig)

You start with 2. The next num is 3. 3 x 2 is 6. put a 25 at the end of that. 625.
Thus: 35 squared = 1225 from 3 x 4
45 ^ 2 = 2025 from 4 x 5
etc

But HOW do I find the x-intercepts? I tried factoring in two different methods but it didn't work out

this guy forgot what the thread was, so he answered it on a new one. http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?41578-someone-s-question-about-graph

Lol! I should be pretty mad right now but that's just hilarious

He didn't explain HOw though :/

And that's fine, I finally figured out how to sketch it!! I just had to list several reasonable x-intercepts which have a reasonable y values!

And it works :)

Have you tried farming in Slouch-o for the answers I think the director bot drops it its pretty rare though I think its a vanity item though

Just kidding im only in 8th grade sorry hope it works out well
