Most desired rare pets/ items?

You know we are expanding some of out mini-events (like Hugthulu, etc) into major events, but we also want to offer you what you want in weekly sales, etc.

In your opinion, what are the rarest/ most desirable eggs/ items in the game?

To be clear, we're not looking to take old leaderboard rewards and put them exactly as they are in the store for Plat. While some of these things may become sale items, it is much more likely that some of these things end up in event token vendors to juice up the available rewards. We're also committed to making new items for these events, so knowing what you like is helpful too.

Eggs? Maybe make a "heroic shard" that we can use to turn normal eggs into their heroic versions.

As for items, it's pretty obvious what the end game players want. It's all those cool event vanities, and also recently we've been into "auras" and stuff so maybe just make a new vanity slot for auras lol.

Maybe some legendary weapons with nice procs would also help. Mausoleum VI now is the best place for any farmer, but most of the new players at end game are left out because the legendary weapons are bad, and the good ones are extremely expensive. Not 100% sure if this is true for all classes, but warriors definitely know what I mean.

I'm not sure how any of these things I mentioned would work in weekly sales though. The Ankhs, Keys, Elite Gems etc are just fine I suppose. XD

Anything that was lootable or store bought from seasons’ past should be reintroduced.

I feel items that are LB banner/vanity/rewards should stay as they are, due to the fact players worked hard to achieve these LB rewards.

Also make inan hesh’s set for players, its about time he shared!

Rarity enhances the appeal of only LB vanities. Certain items that are used for gaming are better when available easily because people will play the game more when they have achievable goals.

Most desirable rare items would be:

1. Avarice set
2. More belts(mythic and legendary belts starting at 10) for all levels. New items means more awakening.
3. The dragon hunter staff: An obsolete weapon (it is not even easily available anymore) rules because of its proc, and newer weapons are not even considered. That is regressive. The Dragon staff should either be made more easily available or newer weapons must eclipse it.
4. Story Tokens x 3!
5. Green Arlor drops agai! For rogue and mage. Green or Pink?
6. Revamped Deary Island with new loot.
7. Mausoleum x 2
8. New Visages and Hairtstyles for story tokens.
9. Armor craftable into vanities.
10. Rare heroic eggs are desirable. Weekly mini event (2 days?) where a boss drops one random heroic egg would be fun.
11. Any thief. Thieves are exciting.

(There isn't one, but please make it in one of the events or sale. Oh! and it should have the Int sign at back too, same as the original armor, sadly red and green founders don't have it).

I would also like to add heroic lucky to the list im pretty sure people r forgetting this pet which is literally the most rare egg of the game from what i know
Nd believe me the thing which i said about heroic knk it is really mandatory to deal with it before things get worse because i think people might still b opening black ice locks for h knk which wkuld result in increase in h knk eggs and ofc increase difficulty to deal with it

I only want 1 thing for the community and not myself but I will post other suggestions for considerations

-Bringing back KM3 for lower levels at least to make gold, (also allow Xp gain here for lvl 1-61, so they can level up and earn gold) why? - this will work well with more crate key sale so more locked are open, more loot so players will both open and can afford higher end gear to make it easier to farm/pvp end-game. PLEASE!!!! This will also allow more luck elixir sales and elite awaken as weapon looted will need open awaken.

****Things that will make AL OP again****

- Forum Event
- Buffing events ( good it is in-progress)
- Old School PvP ( No awaken/SS)
- Better LB Vanity ( Please put some effort into this one like Medusa, Ice spirit ). The last Goblin Event LB rewards were massively disappointing and people who have it been trying to sell it for months now and none buy it ). Be inspired!

Many people are banned with old banners, Leaderboard vanities etc.
Would be great to bring it back (medusa, frank, ice spirit sets). Mausoleum gold inflation made such items worth way too much.
An idea of putting shard with a lot of gold (gold sink) to any desired item to turn it into vanity? Old demonlord armors, or any unique looking ones from past expansions would look great as vanity sets.
Black/white arlor sets? Black Fairy wings?
Add Samael/Mishi to Crate token vendors?

New Items that looks just as good as old items. Not just re-colors but fresh new ideas that show you guys put some time and effort into this game. I think all the old vanities should stay rare but there should also be new things that can in a few years jump to the same rarity and price and rinse and repeat with introducing new items

Reintroducing rare items like these would bring happiness to a majority of players, but frustration to a loyal minority.
That being said, I don't think they should be reintroduced.

Most desirable items are surely lb vanities which shouldnt be touched if you dont want a group of people raging out of your studios XD XD.
Ok back to your question I think as sale during a week..
-could be released a craft item (for plats)called like heroic shard..or anyway the main item would be needed to craft a normal egg into heroic version..amount could be 75/100 plats each shard.
-some sales directly to heroic pets (instead of the ild heroic abaddon,slag,ripmaw..) you can put
- heroic magma sale
-heroic ripmaw
-heroic slag
-new heroic abaddon (I suggest happiness with 50% xp bonus).

About items? Make vanities the so called collectable items.
-Blue founder..purple founder..crier..forerunner.. (armors n helms)
- weapons: idk names cause im not a collectable but there are lot of bows/daggs/guns/staff/swords/aegis that would be cool to have it as vanities. (Players know many ppl wear it in towns)
(If you want more particulars many people can give u names of all those weapons)

-underhul helm armor turn it into vanity as the old uller set trough arcane shard.

I would love to see some new great pets, not heroic ones. Ofc stop introducing heroic arcanes because this is Arcane Legends, not Heroic legends at all. I would like to bring back an old KDR and remove FFA mode which on nobody play. Next, one of the most important (and the most important for us) Eggstravaganza event, as it was before, with possibility to loot arcane eggs (I am not talking about heroics, they can be skipped). I would really love to see more beautiful vanitys like you were doing before (Frank set, Ice spirit, Golem etc.)
Maybe you should bring them back? I don't know, that would be amazing. (Not for some players, but they earn gold by these vanitys only because of the mauso inflation)
Mauso inflation is another point. I'd nerf a gold loot possibility at mausoleum maps and make something to make prices normal, not like hilarious 500m for golem set, Geez. After all, I'd love to see a crier sets back again. That's everything from me, Thank you. :)

Leaderboard vanities released for platinum in a LIMITED QUANTITY (around 100) would solve the "everybody wearing them will make them less rare" because not "everybody" will be wearing them.

I'm not a fan of these leaderboard vanities but allowing extremely few vanities currently worth hundreds of millions of gold (in most cases, which clearly don't fit the trade window) is why we see so many "oh please I got scammed" "scammer this, scammer that" "help scam" treads. Its seriously just annoying.

So the Best way to save the game, i thinkis to stop mausoleum, and locks to be the major way again cuz the feeling and the animation when u loot them its amazing and with Avarice/greed to be playd maps like Elite southern gates/new ones?!etc.

As has been previously said, I think people just want to be different than everyone else, so what is in most demand is what is in the last supply. So if you take something that everyone wants and you re-release it, then the demand will drop and nobody will want it anymore after a while.

I know you are trying to come up with ways to get players to spend plat, but this is not the way. You run the risk of upsetting players who have paid large premiums for such rare items, and now you will make them more common.

I have posted this idea in the past, but here is a great way to earn some $:

Release a new item called a “Vanity Shard”, which can convert any weapon, armor or helm to a vanity. The key here is that you need the original non-vanity item in order to convert, so the rarity of such older and rare items will not be affected.

So for example, players will old founders sets or old heraldic sets will now be able to convert them to vanity, and these items will still be just as rare as before. Perhaps charge 1k plat for a “Vanity Shard”, and make them tradable. I can see many of us wanting to purchase these to convert our old rare sets to vanity.

the rarest item?arc weapon lvl 66 or terror blade .. clean or bad awake can cost 25-30m.... and lvl 71 is coming .. still the no. of arc weapon lvl 66 is not enough ... i think you need to increase a little bit of chance to get it? to bring back the normal price of 20m..

I think most of the main arguments that are againts returning old vanities have been said already. Basically a vanity is only cool if its rare, and if it becomes available to all then it looses the cool factor. Yes its unfortunate that only the rich can afford these vanities now, but I'd rather have it that way then see towns full of ice golems, frankenstiens, and medusas. Imo vanities should not re return. Maybe the only exception is to recolor old vanities so players can still get the look but colectors can still have the color.

Mythic helm and armor for the hero of legend quest should be made more easily obtainable imo. Currently this set serves no purpose aside from the ap, which costs roughly 5m. Other gear, mainly weapons, wouldn't be bad to re release, as certain ones have game changing procs. Concidering these procs would only effect pve, I dont think it would present a huge problem aside from people who already own them.

As far as eggs, of course sam and mishi are most desireble. The problem is when they are for sale in the store they cost too much plat for the average player to afford. Would be cool if they were in store for gold instead of plat, for a fixed price, such as 5m.

Ok i guess u want constructive feedback. I guess it is what is is and you have decided to do what u have and have ur reasons behind it. Personaly i like the idea of the non plat players farming for the plat spenders so everyone wins. So id suggest keep the portal entry free or intorduce a gold entry system, but drop chests which are opened using plat and contain event specific items. Keeps the casual farmers busy farming and the plat spenders happy too.

Gives non plat spenders a fair chance at leaderboard and a steady income to sts too due to the most desirable items being in the chests

I dont know if it has been done already or not since i havent been really playing since many months but considering to put some new things into those story token vendors/glint/and all the other (farmable) npcs where we get tokens/coins from would be not a bad idea. We dont farm those maps anymore because the npc doesnt offer anything great. Well to farm a dragonite bar in a double tooth event doesnt take much time now does it? Could add some nice things to the vendors to bring old maps alive. Which might require even 1k tokens to collect would be fun :D or try and bring elites back to life with an event like the 1 we had once where we had to post ss and vanitys (for completing the whole event i forgot its name) id be willing to donate lots of good prices anything tradeable and ofc gold exept my medusa set [emoji14]

Bosses there stopped dropping crates and mobs stopped giving pve kills. Think it was something to do with botting. A new tomb however with random mechanics like they have in maus would be great

As someone whose been playing for Many years now. I personaly think there is so much more to do in game now than there was back when u quit. Hard work pays off and theres a lot more team work required for Mausoleum, Cryo Chamber, Higher level Map Achievement points etc

On the down side i really do feel sorry for the new players as i recently challenged myself ( Knowing what i already know about game mechanics, maps and loot etc ) to leveling up a new toon from level 1 to 66 without using gold i already have and asking for help from people i know. Its very very difficult and disheartning. Think a lot more should be done to help new players

On the down side i really do feel sorry for the new players as i recently challenged myself ( Knowing what i already know about game mechanics, maps and loot etc ) to leveling up a new toon from level 1 to 66 without using gold i already have and asking for help from people i know. Its very very difficult and disheartning. Think a lot more should be done to help new playersYep i agree totally.new players do have it actually really hard and some do quit halfway because they just cant get throu. But thanks to many helpfull ppl and guilds.. some do stick around and sucseed but thats the minority. I didnt even know there was a forums for like a year when i started :D

Without derailing this thread any more id just like to give my final opinion on this issue. Id rather run around without any vanity and a deary pet and have fun than to have heroic luckys and ice spirits right now. Maps that require teamwork e.g. ( Elite Nordr Expansion ) , better balance in endgame PvP ( Maps where awakenings dont work may be the answer ) New tombs ( Random Maus Mechanics ). Which vanity i wear or which pet i use wont drasticaly change my opinion of the game. Its the overall content that matters. These events just bring people back for the duration of the event and then friend lists dormant again till next event.

Don’t bring back the lb vanities because that would be extremely unfair to the people who grinded the event for them and the people who grinded the gold for them, people want them back because they are rare and yet they won’t be rare anymore or because they can’t afford them but not everyone can and that’s the way it needs to be with some things, that’s how an economy works. Not everyone buys the mega million mansions just like mega million lb vanities.

Agreed that LB vanities are the rarest and most desirable items. IMO these shouldn't come back exactly the same, but rather maybe as recolors for new LB or for plat. Anything that was given as a gift from contests like forebearers, elite journeyman, jesters also shouldn't be touched. Recolors again could solve people wanting the look while preserving the rarity of the original.

Would love to see Vet Shields come back in the form of recolored. The people who didn't get it last time on AL's 3rd birthday have now played longer than those players at the 3 year mark.

Would love to see Heroic Lucky for St. Patrick's day and maybe some Whim eggs.

- Evil King Eriks sword (the guy from the bards "king dude ditty" quest).

- Rogue only ancient planar pendant proc visual to slot onto any a desired weapon vanity or few specific ones (if possible) since (the rogue class still lacks a weapon/weapon vanity with an aura)

Misc:

- Return the [gold finger] and [The Midas Touch] titles (to this day, I still can't see the logic in replacing them with new vanities and titles to show off wealth; to stop people showing off their wealth?

- Leaderboard vanities...but some AL players get too defensive and aggressive about it so do so at your own risk

- PvP leaderboard banners

- PvP Tournament banners

Remembering, AL years ago there's some items and pets that become part of our life, like doing Bael for first times waiting on a Malison egg to drop for make him a new pet or trying to make some gold, but it was the best pet for a long time, then after that, the clever flamestrike was the bomb. The maestro and students hood was good to see it in a sorcerer. Mmm Demonologist set, I miss it.

There's a lot of vanitys for sorcerer but in my opinion they dont show us as a truly master of magic or not so related to them. Am a Ferrix huge fan and I want that vanity come to live for many years now. Thank you in advance -:)

Do not bring back old Lb vanities. Old craftables from valentines events isn’t an issue considering they aren’t tradeable/ worth anything; also an aura vanity slot would be pretty cool. That being said, I would personally appreciate 50-100 more housing slots, armor holders, and egg holders(allowing the pets to sit in your tavern). Zzz everybody is about to go crazy selling all their old and rare vanities, everyone will look like they just dipped old vanities in paint. Why not just come up with something fresh and new. It may be harder than just re-coloring but with a re-introduction of vanities, especially on a large scale the economy is going to go crazy and a lot of people are going to be pissed off. Lb and contest and event vanities are something that only people who have put the time and effort or a considerable chunk of plat into having. And not everyone should be able to have whichever vanities they want. That's what goals are for. You just start re-introducing everything because people who are upset they didn't play the game at the time or sold the vanities before they got rare and watch the collectors disappear. Watch the amount of plat you make slowly die off because now that the rare vanities aren't rare everything becomes cheaper, everyone can buy what they want or an exact re-colored copy of what they want and now no one has a reason to really put time and effort into such an easy game. People gain pride from knowing they worked for rare vanities or were smart enough to buy and hold them. I personally believe the aim should be to re-create that feeling further down the line with newer, fresher, ever-improving designs, and new items/sets that show you guys still put time and effort into the game.

Can’t disagree with you at all, you clearly want to protect the LB vanities uniqueness which is amazing to hear, perhaps some items you can add into vendors can be banners, titles, housing items, and Face/Hairstyles for an appropriate amount of tokens; I would prefer that over any recolored vanity tbh :]

I understand where you’re coming from and in all honesty I forgot I made that first post for reasons that don’t belong here. I’m not saying you guys aren’t putting time and effort into the game.. My emphasis on new vanities that can compare to older vanities such as the aforementioned lb sets is because that’s what I believe is most desired and what I’m seeing is a whole lot of re-color this and that. We need something like the Clown set but with aura and rarity like golem. That’s an amazing new set imo and I love the way it looks. That’s the type of stuff I believe players want to see in the future.

Think most new players want the chance to stand a bit equal to those that have been playing for season and seasons. By this I mean that they want the chance to wear old gear/vanities like ghost, orig jester, crier sets, tabard, etc. Of course those who currently owns one of these items would be against the re-release because it's in human nature to want to be above someone else, also items like elite journey, LB vanities are somewhat of a personal achievement.
I'd give anything to have one of those elite journeyman vanities, I simply adore it so much.
A solution against the dislike of re-releasing the vanities could be modifying these vanities so the originals keep their value somewhat.
As said by many others in this thread it's mission impossible to please everyone but I think making a modified version of the original high valued vanities might reduce the hate.
Also I see no point in releasing the heroic vanity shard or so since it would only benefit the ones currently owning the rare collectibles like crier, heraldic, etc.
Could do the same thing that was done for the mythic weapons during AL B-day event but instead of weapons, collectibles like crier. I know all you in current possession of one of these rare collectibles or vanities will be against this post just to maintain uniqueness but give the new players a chance to do something other than drool over those with ultra rare items?

Think most new players want the chance to stand a bit equal to those that have been playing for season and seasons. By this I mean that they want the chance to wear old gear/vanities like ghost, orig jester, crier sets, tabard, etc. Of course those who currently owns one of these items would be against the re-release because it's in human nature to want to be above someone else, also items like elite journey, LB vanities are somewhat of a personal achievement.
I'd give anything to have one of those elite journeyman vanities, I simply adore it so much.
A solution against the dislike of re-releasing the vanities could be modifying these vanities so the originals keep their value somewhat.
As said by many others in this thread it's mission impossible to please everyone but I think making a modified version of the original high valued vanities might reduce the hate.
Also I see no point in releasing the heroic vanity shard or so since it would only benefit the ones currently owning the rare collectibles like crier, heraldic, etc.
Could do the same thing that was done for the mythic weapons during AL B-day event but instead of weapons, collectibles like crier. I know all you in current possession of one of these rare collectibles or vanities will be against this post just to maintain uniqueness but give the new players a chance to do something other than drool over those with ultra rare items?
This is strictly regarding vanities apart from banners.

Your reasons were more focused on it being unfair for the new player but anyway, owners of these items sell/trade them to others all the time, it has high value to because of it’s uniqueness(the players who work hard and afford it can obtain it); if you want good vanity then I suggest to request for a new vanity that is more appealing for you and not a recolor of the “insanely rare, not nice looking” vanity. The idea for a p2p map using p2p elixir is debatable, but making early season collectibles and LB vanity/ recolors is certainly not something sts would do for profit; causing many issues with the community and nonetheless devalue the items. When I said work for them, I didn’t mean run a map and hope to loot it (That’s not how we obtained them in the first place), I meant work hard for all the millions of gold that it will cost you to buy them off people who did the same to obtain them, by spending millions running event lbs, taking the time to obtain those collectibles like everyone else who owns it.

This will be my last reply to you considering you aren’t getting the message that Im trying to tell. Sts has never re-released such items, and will most likely never will. Hopefully those who have goals of obtaining these rare items will reach it soon legitimately; not by any shortcuts.

Immortal corruption weapons immortal staff is still the best weapon for killing mobs as mage in PvE immortal bow is great on bosses
Dragon hunter weapons dragon hunter staff is just GREAT! on bosses/dragon hunter blades are good for rogue on mobs drag sword is still ok for the stun proc
Glintstone aegis great proc for tank still one of the best pve weapons even though it's level 46 also good for jewel farming

All these are still usefull now even though they are 10-20 levels below current level cap and are starting to become too rare and expensive because you can't get them anymore. Honestly, AL could provide more to the casual players than it currently does. My best moments in AL were always in the tombs either grinding XP or collecting crates. I think a revamp of KM3 with randomized mob spawnpoints would be great. The mobs of the current maps are too meaty for my liking, i personally like the hack and slash massacre of killing multiple enemies at once that i find in the tombs. Much more fun as a mage.

I've read a lot of the replies on this thread and would like to propose a general compromise on a couple things.

1) LB Rewards with no gameplay advantages should be kept exclusive and indefinitely discontinued. Accordingly, any future LB exclusive rewards should be either purely aesthetic, or readily available for others to grind for -as it has been over the past few events. Re-releasing SnS was a great decision, as it is an excellent and unparalleled pet that should have been originally produced to the public.

2) Vanity shards obtainable through daily tokens. Vanity shards (untradeable) can be used to smelt any one piece of armor/helm into a vanity-slot item. Doing so destroys the original item and the gems/awakenings adhered to it. It also is account-bound, meaning players cannot trade the vanity. You could implement a vise-versa system of converting item vanities back to their original form, which would cost resources for the player, but allow the player to resell or trade the items.

No keep your original vanities, and such. All I'm asking is for every current active players to get the chance to either buy with plat or grind a recolor of those vanities. Lets keep in mind that recolors aren't same as the original so the value of the originals don't have to drop at all.
See the issue with the limited stock of the ultra rare items is that the owner rotation stays the same. This has to change, the supply should be increased imo.
Look at the lvl 16s arcanes, they're recolors, did they bring down the price of kershal, black hooks, etc? I think not.

Zzz everybody is about to go crazy selling all their old and rare vanities, everyone will look like they just dipped old vanities in paint. Why not just come up with something fresh and new. It may be harder than just re-coloring but with a re-introduction of vanities, especially on a large scale the economy is going to go crazy and a lot of people are going to be pissed off. Lb and contest and event vanities are something that only people who have put the time and effort or a considerable chunk of plat into having. And not everyone should be able to have whichever vanities they want. That's what goals are for. I like the idea of new items and old items, but I want the history and timeline of items preserved. So when XXX items is seen, people know it is from YYY time.

As a counter-example, not the Commando set, that was very popular before release and is now hardly ever seen, because it is considered common (but I assume everyone who loved it before when it was rare and expensive still love it). Another example is the super desired, "I will treasure it always", please please please warrior green Arlor, which is at the moment common, so most people do not wear it. Maybe in 2-3 years if it is not re-released, but not right now (except of course, all the people who super wanted it are wearing it, right?).

Anyways, we should all know human nature and gamer nature by now. So please preserve the history and timeline of items. If there is a re-release, it should be obvious on its face (recolor for example) which season/era the item comes from. That does not mean that the new item cannot be super cool. Some of the new vanities are quite cool and quite desirable, and just as with old items, given time, will likely see a value increase.

People forget that much of the desirability of an item is time.

If old baseball cards were reproduced in such a way that no one could tell the difference between the old cards and the new ones, will all people interested in collecting baseball cards want that? Not to mention new technology means much more of the new items would exist versus the old items. Old coins?

In the real world, whole industries are centered around confirming the provenance of items, because authentication is where the value lies. Some reproductions do have value, but not to the same level as the originals and not to the point where one cannot tell the difference between the original and the reproduction.

We non plat users farm all day long for months and the owners keep increasing the price mils per day, which is totally unfair for us so we like sts to help us by re-releasing them.
Atleast bring back the vanities which are gone with the banned accounts...

Owners not gonna sell anyways so y care if others have them too... Ohhh wait cuz owners can't sell them for 600m+ anymore??

Sorry but no. Collectibles and OG vanities are not meant for newcomers who want to spend $20 on platinum to obtain Replicas of them while the OG players who earned it or Collectors who spent Millions to obtain it. Respect the items, their history and please do not ask to devalue them just to obtain it without Earning It. This goes for all recolors of “Ultra Rare” Vanities and Collectibles as well. Owners of these items were once new players, play the game, play smart, and reach your personal goals.

Besides, considering the plans for 2018 AL, new players will have a great chance to earn and obtain NEW ITEMS that future events will bring. I hope this is understandable. *no salt*

First off, don’t bring buying platinum into the matter, this is your decision on what to do with your money; nobody will promise you that if you spent x amount of money into the game you will get x item and it’s nobody’s fault but your own. That being said, OG players are the ones that farmed, grinded, and spent millions 100m+ during the event LB to earn these vanities, When I was a new player I set goals for myself to obtain the items I wanted and now have, spending time and money smartly; I did not ask for sts to start making changes so it can be easier for me and everyone else to get it. Any new player that expects to own a Yeti/Ice Spirit/Ice golem vanity right after starting is madness, no new player should focus on exclusive things; it’s the sad truth. I understand the prices are high for these items, but just because the majority of the community cannot get their hands on them doesn’t mean sts should basically do us wrong( us being owners of such items ).

What you need to understand is that there are players in the game who have spent more than you, played more than you, grinded harder than you to earn these items. It’s a big slap to the face to us if sts simply releases a replica *recolor* of these items for basically doing nothing. OG Lb vanities and early season collectibles should not be touched/recolored. If you want an example of why; during the release of the ghost medusa/ghost golem, both OG vanities of these recolors dropped in price significantly, and they were top lb rewards keep in mind. If sts releases more recolors to simply fill up vendors or loottables for maps, it will ultimately ruin og items. Sounds good to everyone right ?*sarcasm*

As another reply mentioned earlier, Do not get fixed on such items to the point of ruining them; I hope everyone will stop acting like children over the matter that they cannot have certain things in the game because it’s too expensive, these items are simply cosmetic only. In this post you said that when ghost items where released the price of certain LB sets fell..
You are basically putting a value in gold for it.. The people who should say no to variants of LB vanities are those who wants to preserve the uniqueness but not by estimating market falls for a different set because of another.. This puts you in for a merchant..

I treasure those vanities on how they look.. Even though i dont have it.. I would never unequip them (if i had) even if all the people around me had it..
And ofc i would NEVER SELL IT.. Unlike you

I think the prices are legitimate and fair considering how rare they are and how people still offer to pay the current prices for them. Any lb runner would get upset to find out their lb reward is going to be worth half of what it was simply because the rest of the people who didn’t work hard enough get a replica of it for basically doing nothing but asking for it in the forums.

Im all for the idea of sts releasing different lb sets, just none that will ruin the uniqueness of other rare lb sets.
I don’t want others to have something similar to what I worked hard for by simply doing nothing/ asking for it.

There r two people A and B
A new (lets say frank set) vanity was released
A was rich so A buyed it early and did whatever he wanted to do with vanity may b showoff or something
After an year or 2 the vanity is rereleased but now its more common and can b afforded by B so B buys it now for cheap but doest get to do showoff sadly
The profits to:
A - was able to do showoff
B- was able to get same vanity for cheap
The loss to :
A- buyed vanity for a large amount of gold
B- didnt get to do showoff
Sigh to both lol :/
My point is everything has its own advantages and disadvantages so people who r against re-release of lb vanities and who support it... It was your OWN decision of what you chose to do WAIT or BUY for expensive

Ill just go over how profitable it can be for them...

Very few people own LB vanities
To cater to them - - >
Advantages : erm..... Idk(happy 1% population of arlor)
Downside: no more profits for sts.

New LB lookalikes and recolours---> will be sold within a minute even if 50 pieces per class come out even if 5000 plat per piece..

So we are looking at two advantages:
1.) prices brought to normal(both new and old and old is way higher ofc)
New players can now set a hard but ACHIEVABLE GOAL to obtain their dream vanity at a cheaper rate.. So lets say the 99% are pretty happy passively or truly..

2.) huge profits and regulated supply.

Downside: 1% people unhappy. (including you)

If you guys think its unfair.. Its not going to be exactly same as yours but a LOOKALIKE and even not end up in sale but in other LB rewards.. Just as G said..
So you dont have to worry.

This will really stabilise one part of AL which are LB item selling..

Instead of saying increase 100M trade limit..
Lets get new stuff so that many people can enjoy playing this game with their favourite items..

So we are looking at two advantages:
1.) prices brought to normal(both new and old and old is way higher ofc)
New players can now set a hard but ACHIEVABLE GOAL to obtain their dream vanity at a cheaper rate.. So lets say the 99% are pretty happy passively or truly..

2.) huge profits and regulated supply.

Downside: 1% people unhappy. (including you)

If you guys think its unfair.. Its not going to be exactly same as yours but a LOOKALIKE and even not end up in sale but in other LB rewards.. Just as G said..
So you dont have to worry.

I see where you are coming from with the 1% being unhappy and the “profits” that sts can make while also making the majority of AL players happy. But if you’re using profits for sts as a reason then the solution is very simple.
Sts can do countless of other things to make the majority of people happy while still making a profit, example:
• Making new and Lb vanities
• Adding new non-tradeable gold vanities
• Placing key crates in store for mini events
• Having platinum sales
• Adding new locked crates
• New Housing items that add stats

There are many other things sts can do to make a profit while also making EVERYONE in the community happy and not making a loyal/veteran 1% of the community upset.

You farm gold in maus everyday to earn enough gold to buy the things you want, Good, I encourage everyone to do so but what reward do you expect for doing so exactly? You are working for the things you want, congrats you are considered an everyday average player like the rest of us. The rewards from event Lb are something entirely different.

I don’t want to get offered because I don’t want to sell my reward, Im one of the few who doesn’t sell off their items. There are other owners who would be happy to sell you their items.
People who purchased platinum have a great part in AL, I myself buy platinum but it won’t be fair to buy something with platinum that others have grinded for weeks for and earned.
And exactly my point, the ones who do runs and spend 50m so they can finally afford the vanity are the ones who are raising the prices, they bid until the highest offer gets it; this happens everyday. On the other hand, the people who don’t Farm and earn the gold to afford the items( aka don’t work for it ) are the ones asking for sts to give them these vanities.

I agree with the first part of your statement but it’s not fair for us OG players to have something we worked hard for being sold for virtually nothing compared to what we spent. In any game you play, the OG players will most likely own the OG/expensive items, there isn’t much you can do about it. There is ways you can buy Ice golem set, it depends on your bargains/offers ect. These are rewards keep in mind, the only way to obtain them was to earn them through event lb, not meant as a profitable sale for sts.

I don’t know the reason people buy gold, perhaps to buy anything they wanted not lb vanity specifically. I know about the platinum farmers back during those events, most of them getting banned resulted in the vanity sets to become even more rare. Also, Im talking about how players can grind hard now for things they wanted thanks mausoleum and gl awakes, the cheaters who obtained the lb vanity before were dealt with.

And I know people who farmed and saved all the gold they earned for a year+ to get what they wanted. Keep farming/ merching/ or in your case buying platinum and eventually you’ll earn enough for what you want; it’s not suppose to be easy.

I think the new lb vanity should have a whole concept of it’s own, therefor having it’s own special uniqueness and value rather than a yeti/ frank/ golem lookalike.

My Opinion:

You want the items to be unique. Well even if sts release them recolored, the one you have will be unique, right? After all the one you have. Want to feel more special? Make a thread showing all your collectable in screenshots with time stamps, that way people will acknowledge that you had them before anyone did. Feel better?
These items are not going to be given away for free. It will be given as a reward in events or will be part of the sale as mentioned by JustG. So, its not like everyone in arlor will have one of these precious in their inventory. Don't exaggerate the scenario.

Don't get me wrong, I am just trying to understand you. What are you so upset about? Being OG doesn't mean much to be honest. Be courteous that studio let you flaunt a unique item for so many years, and they still let you. Because I repeat.. they are going to be recolored, its not the same what you have. Its just a game, enjoy it, don't get so emotional, read the spoiler in my signature :).

Originals will keep their rarity in my opinion...recoloured version would be maybe a mid way between original sets owners and people who want them aswell.

Here’s my opinion,

Towns will be filled with cheap knock-offs of Collectibles/Lb vanity(making the OG’s prices lower and less unique), everyone will soon realize they still ultimately want the OG vanity/collectibles, prices will go back up due to the demand and the hoarders, people will continue to complain about the prices...They will never be satisfied until they have what they want.

I suggest to simply introduce new exciting lb vanities that will satisfy the majority of players therefor everyone who works hard enough for it can own something unique. This will keep the uniqueness of OG vanities/collectibles at the same time giving a chance for everyone to earn something unique and valuable as well.

If sts does this correctly they can profit greatly from adding new features/items in these events.

If they get banned and sts puts their items up for sale, why won’t they cheat again and buy back all their items ? Personaly i like the idea of the non plat players farming for the plat spenders so everyone wins. So id suggest keep the portal entry free or intorduce a gold entry system, but drop chests which are opened using plat and contain event specific items. Keeps the casual farmers busy farming and the plat spenders happy too.

The problem is not the events or contests, but the fact that people want the same exact reward. The LB vanities and rare collectibles are still available, yes they’re very rare and very hard to buy now but that’s the reality. If you have the same reward for every event then what makes the reward unique and valuable? The only items that they reuse during events are specifically non-tradeable vanity/banners for this reason. How many people do you see wearing the same gold tier banner every winter event ? Or the cuckoo clock vendor item ? People do get it by running lb but they end up discarding it or it ends up worthless simply because it’s not unique/rare.

Bringing those contests back and buffing the rewards for event lb as well seems more fair.
I would like to see new original rewards that people can cherish and profit from.

Best solution to stabilize the riduculous price of lb vanities now is to re release those lb vanities on banned accounts..its easy to manipulate price of lb vanities right now cuz the supply is to low and demand is so high..there are few mercher/price manipulator whose hoarding it..and increasing its price double per months....and asking for sts to increase the 100m gold cap..lol ..no item should exceed its value more than the gold cap..thats the puspose to it

For those who keep arguing about what to do about lb vanities, let me just share some experiences from the past. Maybe this will help, maybe it won't.

For those who think lb vanities should be brought back, lets consider the steel comando vanities. A long time ago, these vanities were the most desired vanities in the game. They were the most expensive, only owned by the rich, coolest vanities that you could own. Then sts brough them back for a limited time. Look at them now. These vanitites used to be more expensive then red and green arlors, and yet now they aren't worth much at all. Go through a town and see how many people are actually wearing them, and I would be surprised if anyone actually is. The lesson to be learned here is that vanties are cool and valuable only when they are rare. As soon as alot of them enter the market, nobody cares about there looks or there price any more. Whether you think this would be good or bad for the game is a personal opinion, but this is most likely what would happen if they re release lb vanities.

For those who don't support re coloring lb vanities, lets look at the jester sets. A long time ago there were only 2 jester sets: the original and the white. Then a dev was spotted wearing a new jester set, which was the red jester set, and players asked that it would be added to the game because it looked so cool. Players thought that this would have a huge negative impact on the original jester price because there colors looked similar. Sts ended up releasing the red jester set to the public for a limited time. Look at the prices now. Red jester sets, which were thought to be some awesome new vanity, arent worn by anybody these days. However, original jester vanities are some of the most desired and expensive vanities in game right now. The lesson here is that I don't think re coloring vanities will be a problem to the value of current lb vanities, as long as the re colorings are noticibaly different then the original lb vanities.

Also, keep in mind that these are only vanities. They only affect your looks. People who own these very expensive vanities dont run faster, kill quicker, or survive longer then people who dont own them.

Finally, I feel like sts is playing with fire when it comes to this subject. People are at eachothers throats just discussing this kind of topic, imagine if they actually did re release stuff. No matter how sts approaches this, there will always be people angry/upset with whatever they choose to do.

So how about instead of focusing on what old things to bring back, why not focus more on what new things to add to the game? Instead of bringing back old weapons like dragon staff, immo staff, etc, why not release a new weapon that can compete with these older things? Instead of re releasing old vanities, why not create something new and cool that people will want to wear?

Im sure Justg said somewhere that they ARE bringing new stuff along with some old stuff too which personaly i think is a great idea. People are saying they spent x,y,z amount of gold to get them as leaderboard rewards back in the days. Simple answer to that. Bring them back as leaderboard rewards and the current crop of players can spend x.y.z too and have a chance at getting the desired item

On a purely business point of view i wouldnt be so against releasing desired items for a lot of plat or a lot of tokens in events. Will give Sts a HUGE income boost which in long term helps keep the game healthy and also keeps the MAJORITY of the player base happy.

STS could:

- Release old lb vanities recoloured: scams will likely be less frequent but truth be told, like 'Snowman Is here' said; eventually barely anyone will wear them (depending on the method of release).

- Release old lb vanities as they are; as reward's in their original events: current owners can't really complain because these vanities will be attained the same way they attained them.

- Release old lb vanities from banned accounts as rewards in forum contests: this puts the original amount of vanities back in circulation + anytime someone with one of these vanities gets banned, it can be used as a reward in a new contest. As a additional point to this, the original jester vanities and elite journeymen vanities can be put back in circulation using this method. Current owners won't really be able to complain because you are just returning the missing quantity to the game and will keep doing so = stable prices since everyone knows there is ALWAYS going to be X amount of these vanities in game (pricing excludes elite journeymen vanities since they are untradable).

- Release new leaderboard vanities: I think the major problem with leaderboard vanity sets began when STS stopped releasing these sets and started giving rewards like bugface, wings, gasmask etc. as top leaderboard reward prizes. This left old leaderboard vanity sets with a sense of being discontinued. Release new leaderboard vanity sets to prove they are not discontinued (if they aren't) = no one will pay outside of the trade window for lb vanities if they know a new one will be coming = reduced scams and risk of ban-able activity.

I'm not picking sides, I just want what's best for everyone.

Also +1 to the heroic shard to convert any pet into their heroic version (I think this is how it was said to work) but could the devs please make ALL currently available pets have their heroic versions so we are not limited.

I assume turning the pet into its heroic version using the shard will reset the pet to level 1 = profit for STS in terms of plat use to level up pets (especially from level 66 players).

These heroic shards could be lootable from crates (tradable version) for plat spenders AND rewards from events lb, boss drops, token vendor etc. (untradable version) for free players.

Remembering, AL years ago there's some items and pets that become part of our life, like doing Bael for first times waiting on a Malison egg to drop for make him a new pet or trying to make some gold, but it was the best pet for a long time, then after that, the clever flamestrike was the bomb. The maestro and students hood was good to see it in a sorcerer. Mmm Demonologist set, I miss it.

There's a lot of vanitys for sorcerer but in my opinion they dont show us as a truly master of magic or not so related to them. Am a Ferrix huge fan and I want that vanity come to live for many years now. Thank you in advance -:)

There are a ton of iconic armors that would be great as vanities for all classes! Look at the succees of the myth/arcane weapon vanities. Or the smelly set. My personal favourite would be the juggernaut set and i am sure every class has some favourites.

STS could:

- Release old lb vanities recoloured: scams will likely be less frequent but truth be told, like 'Snowman Is here' said; eventually barely anyone will wear them (depending on the method of release).

- Release old lb vanities as they are; as reward's in their original events: current owners can't really complain because these vanities will be attained the same way they attained them.

- Release old lb vanities from banned accounts as rewards in forum contests: this puts the original amount of vanities back in circulation + anytime someone with one of these vanities gets banned, it can be used as a reward in a new contest. As a additional point to this, the original jester vanities and elite journeymen vanities can be put back in circulation using this method. Current owners won't really be able to complain because you are just returning the missing quantity to the game and will keep doing so = stable prices since everyone knows there is ALWAYS going to be X amount of these vanities in game (pricing excludes elite journeymen vanities since they are untradable).

- Release new leaderboard vanities: I think the major problem with leaderboard vanity sets began when STS stopped releasing these sets and started giving rewards like bugface, wings, gasmask etc. as top leaderboard reward prizes. This left old leaderboard vanity sets with a sense of being discontinued. Release new leaderboard vanity sets to prove they are not discontinued (if they aren't) = no one will pay outside of the trade window for lb vanities if they know a new one will be coming = reduced scams and risk of ban-able activity.

I'm not picking sides, I just want what's best for everyone.

Give them a high enough plat sale value and it wont be as common as lets say the commando set

Forum is a bad idea IMO as not everyone has access to forums for one reason or another.

There should have always been additions to token vendors etc but the main vanity rewards should have stayed the same so every year people have the chance to get their desired vanity. Would have kept things relatively rare but not so rare that the prices sky rocket to the prices they are at now

I think Lb prizes and event tier prizes should Not ever be tradable or made a store sale item. Only the players who ran the race should be able to display them. This includes vanities, banners, pets,crate keys, jewels ect ect. Then there will be nothing to argue. Only loot from vendor tokens, crates, map n bosses should be tradable.

STS did not run out of ideas, it takes a very creative mind to keep one game so popular for years and years. As mentioned by the devs, there is new content for the lovecraft event. While the devs prepare new content, they wish to fill up the little gaps with mini-events to keep us on our toes and enjoying the game-play, which I think is a very bright idea. It takes a bright mind to persistently try to innovate.

The handful of 'merchants' who type hateful comments such as we want something new why you run out of idea sts, are just attempting to shame the devs into not releasing their hoarded items.

As observed there are broadly 3 types of players in AL- the farmers who run elites and mausoleum, the platinum buyers who can afford to and do buy platinum to enhance their gameplay and support the game, and the hoarders who exist to spam in towns and reap profits from hoarding. It is totally a personal opinion and I but I do believe hoarding/manipulating prices springs from a toxic attitude.

I completely understand the strong hate coming from a handful of forumers. I even got a laugh from imagining some of you on your rickety chairs typing furiously all over the thread with a frown on your brows that is a mix of panic and anger.

On the surface, it may seem like the small fraction of hoarders who hate the idea of popular vanities returning are just connoisseurs of creative art. If artwork was appreciated, one would be totally ok with releasing them with new modifications. Now that would be a healthy attitude. But no just aesthetic love and appreciation for the vanity is not that which angers the hoarder.

There is something deeper involved I believe, and that is purely a personal opinion. Hoarding means that fraction is trying to resell stuff for millions and millions and never have to actually play the game or buy platinum or farm for their gold. What does a toxic hoarder do with the hundreds of millions of gold anyway? My guess is that the gold is sold through third-party platforms. With the dollar strengthening I am sure in some areas of the world, a few dollars is all they need to feed themselves.

I want these things to be implemented
1)Make dragon hunter staff,sword,daggers and immortal staff available with glintstone tokens or with orc tags and make it untradable just like flame staff.
Implementing this will encourage people to run end game maps such as mausoleum and dreamscape maps.
2)Re-release Elite journeyman vanities,why because many of the people in arcane legends are not very active in forums but are very active in game just like me,i have been playing this game from level 16 cap and im not really active in forum infact i made this forum account in 2016 despite being an old player,so re releasing it will be a great decision
3)Make Sameul,brothers of whim and mishi available
4)As many have already said it release the king eric sword as a vanity or a weapon
These are the things which i want to be implemented in this game.
Regarding Lb vanities I don't think you should re released it with different colors because doing this will cause many people to rage quit and will cause alot of drama in game and in forum just like you can see it in previous replies.
Last but not the least i really want to thanks all the developers for making this game and taking efforts to make the game more interesting.

Makes 60 + the new specter sets lets say for each class so 12 in total... Rn

A Big NO to vanity shards even if the vanity will be untradable.

Nothing gonna kill the game faster than this item..

Killed 31-36 PvP... Cuz of hoarders, barely come across the Arcane Maul of ollers/bb hooks/kerhsal.

Now it will kill all the colectible items, they should stay as they were originally made.

Someone who agrees with vanity shard should agree with Bringing back lb vanities too...

Because everyone will be unique and love what they have and others will desire heraldics, weapons, other collectibles and ask them to bring back... They are unique too, so let those who desire the collective stuff can have them.

Think most new players want the chance to stand a bit equal to those that have been playing for season and seasons. By this I mean that they want the chance to wear old gear/vanities like ghost, orig jester, crier sets, tabard, etc. Of course those who currently owns one of these items would be against the re-release because it's in human nature to want to be above someone else, also items like elite journey, LB vanities are somewhat of a personal achievement.
I'd give anything to have one of those elite journeyman vanities, I simply adore it so much.
A solution against the dislike of re-releasing the vanities could be modifying these vanities so the originals keep their value somewhat.
As said by many others in this thread it's mission impossible to please everyone but I think making a modified version of the original high valued vanities might reduce the hate.
Also I see no point in releasing the heroic vanity shard or so since it would only benefit the ones currently owning the rare collectibles like crier, heraldic, etc.
Could do the same thing that was done for the mythic weapons during AL B-day event but instead of weapons, collectibles like crier. I know all you in current possession of one of these rare collectibles or vanities will be against this post just to maintain uniqueness but give the new players a chance to do something other than drool over those with ultra rare items?
