Mount Fang Expansion is Coming later this Month! [Archive]

The Mount Fang Expansion that will increase the level cap to 66 is slated for release later in November. The team is working on putting the finishing touches on all new monsters, armor, weapons, quests, boss fights and more! We're aiming to have it in your hands before the US Thanksgiving Holiday.

One thing to keep in mind is that Mount Fang will increase the level cap. When that happens the current level cap vanity reward (the Shield of Hallows) will go away and a new level cap vanity will be available. There is a set bonus for collecting all of the level cap vanities. If you're interested in collecting a Shield of the Hallows, now is the time!

That would ruin the surprise and amazement of seeing it for the first time :D remember when nuri first came out? Lol everyone was so amazed at the new gear xD

Yes.

There will be a 3 piece bonus if you have all 3 (56 vanity, 61 vanity, new 66 vanity) and a 2 piece bonus if you have two (for example: 61 vanity, new 66 vanity).

Woo Hoo, thanks for giving us insight into the upcoming release and for allowing those of us who weren't around for the 56 vanity to still have a two piece bouns for the 61 and 66 vanities. Looking forward to the challenges you have planned for us!

Must get back to grinding so that I have a war chest built for all the new gear! :o

Sweet... I'm not sure if I'll do all 3 to 66 like I did with other caps but atleast 2 :) I guess ultimately it depends on how much time we have to grind. If it's another quicky lvl cap increase then definitely only 2...lol

That's what I was thinking, so I saved my platinum and only did 2 right now. :)

I can't wait for this campaign. I think I'll be keeping my demonic dex set though. (:

Yeh.... I'm sad to say that my first toon created (mage) will be the one left without the next vanity, as for my demonic dex set I will not sell till I get the next best thing (and maybe not even then..lol)

^This. Lame move imo to deny the helm or a way to achieve a similar bonus prior to 3 more level cap increases. I guess I could hold my breath to see the difference in the bonus, but.... RL is calling. Much love STS <3. Thanks for a fun game :-).

sweet time to crank down for my sheild. I joined a week or so before nuris release and I've got 2 lb 60s and loving the game. however my hopes and spirits were crushed when i found out that it's gonna cost plat. how much? is this true? I'm still newish I dunno what to expect. nuris was free. here's to hoping fang is.

Mount Fang will be free and has been confirmed by a dev (or two), all maps that are part of the main spine (basically maps that are the only option for one to level up in) are free. There are maps that are considered premium maps which cost plat; these maps are alternatives to the main spine and can offer a change of scenery for those leveling up.

All the campaigns on the world map that have a platnum symbol next to them are premium maps:

If u had the chance to get 56 and the crown of persistance before Nuris was released being 61 before Mt Fang offers you a shield that combines with the crown. It adds a huge set bonus when combined. 50 hp, 5 dodge, 10 armor.
Once Mt Fang comes out the shield an chance to achieve this will be gone. If you didnt get thr crown then no biggie :(

Seems like a good idea in theory, but frankly, it's what is driving me away from here. I was sooo close to buying a tablet, just to play PL, but due to time/elixir restraints, this game isn't for me. Thought I'd stay twinking, but too many of my friends are endgame, and the game isn't how it once was. If they ever get rid of this bonus/make it not effect PvP, someone with my number, shoot me a text :D

I'll be on the forums forever, tho!

Platinum is a really hard thing to get. Getting paid plat is really good and easy, but there are many issues with the free version.

Your exp will be divided by a factor of 10. For example:

If you're at 33,500/100,590 exp you'd then be at:

3,350/10,059

Make sense?? :)

So every lvl cap u get a new vanity and the more you get the bigger set bonus u will have is this same idea being implemented in the star legends game? Cause it would be a nice heads up since that game is still on its first lvl cap vanity
