No matter how hard we try, Cinco can not be stopped, and now he is bringing Awakenings to Pocket Legends.

Start your quest for total mastery in the Shadow Caves (of course) by speaking to Augey the Awakener:

He will direct you into the Shadow Caves to hunt down some shadow creatures:

Once you have killed enough of these shady fellows return to Augey to complete your quest:

Since you have done him such a solid, Augey is now available to Awaken Items for you:

He can Awaken items that fit the following criteria:

1 Handed Weapons, 2 Handed Weapons, Off-hands, or Amulets
Level 50 and above
Epic Rarity or above

He is still trying to bootstrap his business in the caves, so he'll charge 10 Platinum to Awaken an item for you.

You can tell if an item can be awakened by the gold glow on it's icon:

Once something has been awakened you will see how many slots it has on it's icon:

Tapping that icon lets you see what type of enchantments it has:

The max number of possible Enchantment Slots corresponds to an item's rarity:

Epic: 1 slot
Legendary: 2 slots
Elite: 3 slots

Please note that you may not open all these slots up when the item is first awakened, but there is a chance with each subsequent Enchantment. Enchanting items takes Gold or Platinum:

In general Gold Enchanting remove the best possible outcome and Platinum Enchanting remove the worst possible outcome from the list of possible Enchantments. Possible Enchantments differ by item class:

1 Handed Weapons:

• From 1 Str, 1 Dex, 1 Int to 10 Str, 10 Dex, 10 Int
• From 1 Dex to 10 Dex
• From 1 Int to 10 Int
• From 1 Str to 10 Str
• From 1% Crit to 5% Crit
• From 5 Damage to 50 Damage

2 Handed Weapons:

• From 1 Str, 1 Dex, 1 Int to 20 Str, 20 Dex, 20 Int
• From 1 Dex to 10 Dex
• From 1 Int to 10 Int
• From 1 Str to 10 Str
• From 1 Armor to 50 Armor
• From 1% Crit to 5% Crit
• From 5 Damage to 75 Damage
• From 1% Dodge to 5% Dodge
• From 10 Health to 50 Health
• From 1 H/s regen to 5 H/s regen
• From 1 M/s regen to 5 M/s regen

Offhands:

• From 1 Str, 1 Dex, 1 Int to 5 Str, 5 Dex, 5 Int
• From 1 Dex to 10 Dex
• From 1 Int to 10 Int
• From 1 Str to 10 Str
• From 1 Armor to 50 Armor
• From 1% Dodge to 5% Dodge
• From 10 Health to 50 Health
• From 1 H/s regen to 5 H/s regen
• From 1 M/s regen to 5 M/s regen

Amulets:

• From 1 Str, 1 Dex, 1 Int to 5 Str, 5 Dex, 5 Int
• From 1 Dex to 10 Dex
• From 1 Int to 10 Int
• From 1 Str to 10 Str
• From 1 Armor to 25 Armor

If you are not satisfied with the current Enchantments you can try again until you get what you like.

This system will come online with the next PL Client Update (soon).

I personally do not think this is a very good idea, this is because this would ruin ALL pvp above 50. I mean maybe this would work, but im not guaranteed any stat i want even if i use plat. Idk i kinda dont this will be good but we will see sts never fails to amaze me.

I agree the way plat has to be spent to go on enchanting isnt the best way to go around this but besides that its pretty cool this is like gemming in AL but costs 10 plat per item.. but thanks for continuing on updates.

Is this a "luck of the draw" type system or do we get garunteed stats that have been listed? Id also like to know if we will be getting the 1h weapons/helm/shields to go with the new armors

I agree with this, not to be unappreciative, but could we wait till after tourney? Otherwise the gear will be all uneven, I absolutely love this idea though. It will be really fun.

I agree we should wait for the tourney to end but y'all 71's better get ur stuff together and not let the whole community wait, so i suggest start eliminating teams if they are not showing up.

I thought this will hurt pvp but I’m happy it will make 71 elites useful with 3 enchanting slots because of the nerf they got for being 71(they used have more dmg than 70 weapons for example esb was better than phantom now it’s not)

I hope sts isn't going to delay the release of game updates due to the fact that the people organizing the 71 tourney have been unable to make said tourney happen in a reasonable amount of time. Poor tourney planning shouldn't be a deciding factor in the timing of game updates.

I wonder how this random customization of equipment will effect the pvp, those who are pay to win compared to free to play players?

To me looks like a twink update I mean lvl 100 your pretty much hitting everything criting everything etc the miniscule amount of stats this will give will be close to nothing which being a twink only player is amazing

It would be best if we could awaken all items regarding of its level except vanities and not just Level 50+. Moreover, It would also be best if we could awaken all items not just the weapons and shields and amulet. Please take this into consideration and implement it as I believe it would help balance the game in terms of pvp and it would create much more addition into the game for players that are bored.

Indeed. My plan is to release the new system for only a small scope of items at first to ensure that everything works properly.
If things go well (and I think they will), you should expect to see the system expand to other item types and to lower levels of the game :-)

This works pretty good on AL and none have problem with it. U have no idea about it yet.. Later you gonna like it. Stop guys being negative when sts working hard to add something new to pl. Be happy.

Exactly this is the reason I came to this thread to post that, rather than re-enchanting means re-roll of all three slots, there should be an option to re-roll each single slot. This is asking for toooooooo much for just an single item? If I'm not wrong there's 1/216 chance of getting best possible stat for dice for an example but enchantments have way much more stats, it's like ROLLING 3 DICES together and expect all 3 six in all dices, that's LITERALLY too much, unless the algorith is something different.

SECONDLY, when you keep re-rolling, the system should be like this, you keep re-rolling, system keep removing lowest possible value from next reroll, this way we'll keep approaching to certain best value if not achieved by luck earlier. That's how folks not gonna complain that I did so many re-rolls but still didn't get the desire stat. Oh but the plat cost shoudn't be 5 per each slot, there should be break down.

I'm definitely not liking the system but atleast this way it will get much much better.

What I’m gathering from all the feedback is people like the idea of item enchantment, as it provides further customization for specific builds/play styles. What people do not like is the methodology of item enchantment; there is too much random luck involved in getting the desired enchantments, and this unpredictablility pushes people away from spending a lot of gold/plat on enchanting items since theoretically all their currency could go to waste if they never achieved their desired enchantments.

I think Plpr’s suggestion of rolling individual slots is a good idea. This could be balanced by making the price of rolling just one slot significantly higher (50k gold or 50 plat). This way, people could do many rerolls of all 3 slots for 5k gold/ 5 plat, and If they got two really nice enchantments and one bad enchantment, they could simply just spend 50k gold or 50 plat on rerolling the individual bad enchantment until they get a desired enchantment, preserving the other two enchantments that were good.

The chance of receiving your ultimate enhancements is far too little, being happy with one slot but the others are poor. And the risk of using more plat for a reroll is unpredictable.

I feel terrible for the friends who used up hundreds close to a thousand plat to enhance to open up their slots. They should be compensated.

With dodge and auto attack damage l100 pvp was already an unbalanced luck draw. Now with this new system all pvp 50+ will have luck rather than skill or knowledge of the game playing a bigger and bigger role in the outcome of matches.

Also the preview implyed plat would give a better chance for good enhancements, yet I've gotten my best enchantments so far with gold, because gold is limitless and plat is limited to the amount I'm willing to buy or do platinum offers for. Meaning i can just grab 500k from my stash and reroll 100 times if i need to for stats that fit my character/play style. Yet to do the same with platinum would cost me 50$, and there is no guarantee I'm going to get the stats i want.

I'm so excited to see sts putting more time and effort into pl, it just seems the time could be spent fixing what was already there. With the extremely high hp and damage capture the flag isn't even playable. Mages need to be able to heal themselves and their team to full hp with no more than 3-4 heals max, and just as importantly bears need to be able to tank, when your tank class dies in 3 hits it's no longer a tank class, in a 3v3 that means your tank goes in, and just dies.

I have 230 plat an 500k down the drain and i only like 2 slots on my talon first one is bad and my wing and amulet is bad but i hate having to spend more because i lose it all.

It seems like if alot of these enhancements were removed we would be able to get better roles.

An example of this is when i was trying to enhance my 71 beastly set for my bear, i repeatedly got int in my rolls. Perhaps remove int enhancements from str gear, remove str from int gear, and remove crit from dodge gear. You could probably remove crit enhancements to all l100 items since everyone has 100 crit already.

Man, CTF was the heart and soul of this game for me. Haven't played a CTF game in a loooong time...

Man, CTF was the heart and soul of this game for me. Haven't played a CTF game in a loooong time...It was just starting to grow on me when healing a group enough to survive getting a flag became unattainable lol
