55 Cap - remove Item mods in PVP and CTF

It's great that the game got a cap update after almost 5 years don't get me wrong. Finally new life came into it and I saw plenty of old faces.
During all those years PVP and CTF were one of the few things where you didn't have advantages by having Platinum or Credits. That changed yesterday. PVP wins will no longer be a result of skill or team coordination. They will be a result of luck in the RNG game that is the Item.Mod feature. More creds+plat = higher chance of overpowering your gear.
I love the feature but it makes PVP and CTF unplayable in my and the opinion of many other PVPers.

Just like the removed movement speed boost in PVP, a removal of item.mod bonuses in PVP would be the best to not let this mode die out. PVP and CTF have been my favourite Modes since I started this game years ago and it would be a shame if they get ruined because of this.

I second this. The mods make it unfair. The mods are cool and all but it really ruins pvp. Now its all about who has the freakishly better stats. Change it back!

I totally disagree with that, I find it more challenging the way it is now which is the way it should be. Everyone before MOD. came out, was having same stats which at the end is a luck factor. Just my point of view.

Thats a fair idea. If some people arent willing to let go of their mods, perhaps a separate mode without mods should make it fair.

I miss playing some decent pvp on my op :/
