Classy Looter = Glyphic Blade Steels...?

So I think I've heard it mentioned a couple times here and there that using classy looter while running Nuri's plat dungeon increases the amount of blade steels that drop. I know to run without luck and combo (if you are going for steels and not pinks), but I'm wondering how does the classy looter affect the amount of steels you get? And does it actually make a tangible difference?

I'm not sure if it actually makes a difference, but the theory is by using the classy looter you eliminate all yellow drops unusable by you characters preferred stats. Therefore increasing the chance of a steel.

Using classy looter reduces the loot table by 2/3 depends on what you have the most attributes on (dex/int/str) thid increasing the chance of getting a steel.
