For a successful community as we currently are, we are a fanbase of players that not only actively engage with each other through the game and the forums, but also among social media apps.

If you have a Line Messenger account or a WhatsApp Messenger account and would like to join a lively, unofficial community of fellow players, please feel free to join our group.

Please keep a PG-13 friendly behavior in the groups. Also avoid spamming the Merch-Only group as the group's purpose is to provide a medium for people to sell their items. Excessive spam or inappropriate behavior will result in permanent removal from the group(s).

Here is the link to the group if you would like to join (requires Line or WhatsApp account):

Here is the link to the Merch-Only group if you would like to join (rules strictly enforced!):

Upon joining either group, a quick tip would be to please turn group notifications OFF in the group settings to keep the group messages from appearing on your device, unless you want every message to ring your phone

Hmm.. Isn't this forum the dedicated social media for the game? Why you need other channels for socializing and merch?
I am sorry, I refuse to join any group on any media that is not official.

(privacy alert)Line app has been a great way to communicate with players for many years. I've used it for approx 5 yrs. Great for guild communication when not in game. Not everyone uses the forums that plays on a mobile device.

Also, there isn't a privacy concern if you use app with ign and don't share personal info.

I can understand guilds making a private group, its like having a discord session. But inviting a whole community to a group just doesn't make sense to me.
I know line just uses ID which is fine, for all you know you are chatting with my cat (meow) :p

Privacy concern was for what's app.

Privacy concern was for what's app.I see. I've never used what's app before. Community chats have been attempted in the past but with little success. I'll join just to see the experiment in action.

...and you wouldn't be the first cat I've chatted with on line...but honestly, it was mostly meow spam and tuna begging *looks in Ent's general direction*

A lot have been tried before and a lot have been very sucessful for a short period of time. Problem is that wherever you have a big enough group of players unmoderated it just ends up with gold sellers, ign sellers and those in general who are up to no good

Just be careful because sts might think you guys are trading currency etc. Even though you guys are not.

Right.

A warning, we have eyes everywhere (some players would prefer the game stays fair to all, and sometimes we show up incognito too), so don't think these channels are secure for naughty transactions.

'Cause they are not!

Went out to a uni party tonight and I fear I have a lot less time for AL. Not enough time to merch atm :(

I hope I have time to run LB again 3rd time this year :) at least during Elon or winter

Love to STS and shoutout to Justg and Vroom for looking after us here in forum:)

That was short lived.
