Yes for many reasons. Too many to tell them all. Perhaps u can read the Terms of Service?

Why do they give permabans? I thought banning only lasted 7 days

Yes, permabans happen.
There are some people out there that are just not cut out for this type of environment, and do not listen to advice when they have been told repeatedly how to act/behave/etc.
