TIPS:
1). Find a ring in the platinum store, they will help a lot in lower lvl pvp.
2). Try to do combos. Example: Use a snowball to freeze, then stomp to shatter. Ice and firestorm....
3). usally attack gear works better with a attack build and ring. Example (lvl 16 dex bear): expert lvl 15, attack ring, platkit helm, lvl 15 pink snowball, any vanity helm with 1+ def, and a face will help.

Basically it works if you can juke fairly well and you can observe the other twink's build (most 15/16s don't know how to respond to juking) because:
AGAINST 2+ Slasher: You have better armor from Iron Blood, so it's basically a "don't let their two or three slashes hit me" and juke. Wins every time.
AGAINST NO Slasher: Since they have no slashes, and you have 1, get closer, because that 50 damage from that one slash negates the +5 armor advantage from buff over you.
AGAINST Same Build: Comes down to who's the better juker.

There are a few exceptions, like arrowsgoflyin and sniperstarr, both very good twinks that can respond to juking. Both are at the same skill level as me, or even better. Probably even better.

I've been "twinkeringaround" with a pretty dirty build. It requires a lvl6 Mage.
4 heal
1 light or 1 ice
Pure str.
Lvl5 Blacksmiths forged PL
Lvl6 Ursan blade of darkness (nightmare proc)
And I just picked up a decent random, lvl6 fighting cap of power.
The idea is to heal faster than you take damage. Its kind of a stall method. The lightening and the nightmare proc, both are minor debuffs. The 2h sword is for more damage. On the other hand, having the freeze ability is quite useful too, while chasing someone around with a huge freaking sword. Lol!

Your welcome :) and I would recommend something that does maximum dmg. You would want to use expert armor, helm from plat kit, a pink snowball, and a full on attack ring wont hurt :)

If you want to be the best at pvp you either need to spend boat loads of coins or a ton of platinum.
BTW: I would recommend lvling your bird to 15 or 16. A lvl 1-14 bird has no business being in pvp :/ I made that build for fun, but it is all up to you.

When making anything based off attack in pvp (which a war bird is) you might want to have a little dex and use a lvl 20 attack dex ring and of corse a iceberg LS set :p

Ya ive already got the iceberg set (black ice FTW!) and im workin on gettin a vyx helm. I might shell out the the plat for the ring but idk, this toon is gonna be mainly a farmer with pvp on the side when im bored.

150 Str, 150 int, rest dex. :)
Or if you want full armor and power, 150 STR, rest INt
I say rest dex because it gives you more hit. With crafted orlork, it's difficult to get over 90 hit. Whatever you do, do NOT go 150 str rest dex. Even though you have good hit and crit and dodge, no use because int affects skill damage much more. :0

I say rest dex because it gives you more hit. With crafted orlork, it's difficult to get over 90 hit. Whatever you do, do NOT go 150 str rest dex. Even though you have good hit and crit and dodge, no use because int affects skill damage much more. :0

Ive been playing with my stats and yea i think putting everything to dex aftr 150 on str aint good. I think the latter part is what ill test :)

What gear would you use on a L35 bird?

I usually see them wearing a copperhead plate, probably a copperhead bullfrog helm and a green ice/iceberg longsword. I'm pretty sure the longsword is better than the copper spear set.

2: iceberg plate, vyx helm and iceberg sword

TIPS:
1). Find a ring in the platinum store, they will help a lot in lower lvl pvp.
2). Try to do combos. Example: Use a snowball to freeze, then stomp to shatter. Ice and firestorm....
3). usally attack gear works better with a attack build and ring. Example (lvl 16 dex bear): expert lvl 15, attack ring, platkit helm, lvl 15 pink snowball, any vanity helm with 1+ def, and a face will help.


Please dont use these builds to rush people in pvp.

zap, ive got to disagree with your bird builds, 5 root is useless unless your only going to fight birds, i would rather make a dps 35 bird for killing voodoos and bears then to kill just one class, birds..

5/6 root is always in my bird builds, lol. I make my birds to be anti-dodge. (:
It's just habit, and I've always played with it like that, and I've always done fine vs all classes lol. :3

Everyones builds are based on preferences. There is no"best builds" but rather builds good against certain other builds. Zapokes, for example is good against birds and copperheads due to their high dodge.

I was kinda wondering the same thing too. Having 1 root will help you hold them down so that you can use avian scream. Maybe 5 avian scream and 1 root?

Sorry to criticsm you on that point, but to be honest, there is almost NO WAY to win vs a skilled voodoo mage as a L30 bird in PvP. Honestly I can access a treasure trove of experience of almost 20.000+ duels with my L32 Bird + 5.000 duels with my L35 voodoo mage. Most of the wins vs voodoos were based on pure luck or noob mages.

If you still dont believe me, try to fight iiblitzii, shelbyyyyyy or any skilled voodoo to get your own proove.

Nah. Joining a random Pvp match, i can def. Kill a 35 voodoo mage on my Xbox controller (no macros) and on a relatively good day ;)

The only reason I see to be skeptical about you beating a voodoo is the fact that you don't have any dodge in your build. Without dodge, my voodoo can kill a bird in 1-2 seconds. So unless you can top that? ;)

Good point! The last time I used Chrono was around when the glitch was fixed, so I guess Im used to killing them mages in about 4 shots.

What if the combo we use changes according to timing of their Mana Shield?

I.E. I see mage use Mana sheild, and my combo becomes BA - SS - BS - TR etc...

@TwinkLaser back off Ninja. I've been an avian forever and believe me when I tell you that EVERY skill matters. It's all about the way you play the game. On my 30 warbird I used avian scream all the time and yes, I did kill voodoo mages a good amount of the time. When they don't see it coming, you've already won.

While I see why you would think it's useless, that's only partially true. After level 4, avian scream unroots you. (Read somewhere that it also might remove debuffs.. Idk about that one, lol). However, at this level, I would personally not use it. It' range is small, and it's damage is lower then a few arrows that're easier used.

That build works. Dodge is an amazing thing. No one can consistantly push you back lol. After you beckon, you scream, and they're stunned. After that, it's just a matter of time. :p

gear-either sorcerers,alchemists,or expert. no artisans. I use the lvl 10 helmet which comes in premium int package but the dex premium pack helmet is even better.weapon is purple/pink candle shield is purple/pink cuddle me frost. I have gotten a 3/1 kde with this :) 225 kills 77 deaths

versatile kite/stun build

lvl 12

lvl 10 Sniper's Archery Cap
lvl 5 Artisan's Reinforced Leather
lvl 10 Purp+ Candle/toy, Purp+ Tinsel, Purp+ Launcher/Duck, Sniper's Avian Talon, lvl 12 Assassin's Forest Crossbow
lvl 10 Sniper's Avian Wing, Purp+ Wreath, Purp+ Sled

I recommend the bold, everything else is mostly for fun.

6 Rage, 4 stomp, 1 sms. Combo in that order :D

Alright business time I've heard of them in the past and now a days they're really scarce you you find them around 17-19 pvp but why not any higher? I'm talking about the Int Bird.
