Just bought a cottonkill and tested its aa. Turns out its so op that it absorbs all incoming dmg. Is this intended?

Of course... It's got a cape!

Cottonkill's AA is like an HP bubble around you. It's not a constant dmg reducing shield. At 61, the shield absorbs about 7k of dmg before popping. Not sure the strength of the shield is a formula based on pets dmg or purely the level of the pet. At level 5 the aa was absorbing about 500 dmg.

the AA don't seems very good anyway to what I know and when I use... compared to nekro or glow

If it’s low level it’s not good

I think it's to do with how much armor you have I tried with no gear on and got one shotted but with 9k armor no dmg taken for duration of aa.

Vroom said in chatbox it is independent of armor

independent, but that shield absorbs exact amount of incoming dmg (i guess amount of dmg absorbing based on dmg of pet or based on pet's lvl), so: more armor = less incoming dmg = need more enemy's attacks to destroy shield, same as arc66 shivs proc
