Is there a way to choose were you pics go on the iPod app I can only put them at the end.

If you mean if you can sort your pictures on an iPod from the camera roll, then the answer is no. If you're running the latest firmware (iOS 5), then you can put them into albums, but still not sort them in the photo roll.
