Are you guys using Chrome? Futumsh sez:
The 'stuck at %' thing is browsers taking forever to process wasm, but eventually it does complete - chrome got substantially worse with a recent update (spectre/meltdown related). I've been recommending people use firefox instead (at least on a 64 bit os, 32 bit has address space issues).

Vivaldi has been working even better than firefox for me, just putting that out there.
