Hello intrepid Arlorians, be the Hero you were meant to be!

A goblin horde has invaded and is using a powerful and deadly poison to transform the helpless villagers into scary snarling goblins. Visit Littleridge to fight goblins, earn points and tokens and walk away with tons of event exclusive loot!

The event will begin on Thursday 5/10 at approximately 1:30 PM CT and end Thursday 5/24 at 1:30pm CT. Cooldown ends Friday, 5/25 at 1:30 pm Central Time.

New to 2018:

+ Battle the Goblin Mother, a level 66 only boss accessible from Littleridge using the Altar Relic (created from Binding Stones and Altar Fragments). Defeat her and her special minion for the highest reward of Goblin Event Points and a chance at vanity armor.

+ The Goblin Mother's minion, Gobby, has a chance to drop a Gobby Vanity Chest which must be opened with Goblin Event Tokens and contains a piece of the Burning Goblin Vanity Set for a random class.

+ Binding Stones can be found in Littleridge and the Goblin Dimension. Portals to the Goblin Dimension can be found all throughout Arlor, find one of these to enter a zone filled with chances for Binding Stones. Binding Stones can only be found while under the effects of the Binding Stone Farmer's Elixir (available from the Event Vendor).

+ Placing in the Top 10 on the Goblin Event Leaderboard will grant a Golden title: Goblin Stomper

+ Reaching Platinum Tier during the Goblin Event will grant a Platinum title: Blighted Hero

Changed from 2017:

+ Massive Glintergoblin Crate has been converted into the Goblin Horde Crate. This is a single pull locked crate which contains the elusive Goblin Speed Sets, and newly this year Goblaun Vanity Weapons, Heroic Korruption, and a new Mythic Pet: Chester! Chester awards the player bonus gold loot % while attacking enemies.

+ Goblin Horde Crates cannot be crafted from Underhul or Twilight Locked crates. Instead of crafting, Goblin Horde Crates can be dropped from bosses within the event zone as well as purchased for Goblin Tokens from the Event Vendor.

+ Purchasable items from the Event Vendor have been updated, grab your wet suit and currency chests!

+ The Goblin Altar Relic no longer requires energy to be crafted, but consumes the recipe upon crafting.

+ Placing anywhere Top 50 or above on the leaderboard grants you the Goblin Gold Sack Back Vanity and The Eye of Goblaun Banner

How to Play

There are a number of ways to enjoy the Goblin Event! Participation in the Goblin Event will earn you points as well as tokens that you can spend at a special vendor to get exclusive pets and gear.
Your goal is to advance through four tiers (Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum), killing as many evil goblins as you can to earn fame and fortune. Along the way you just may save the world...

Littleridge

You can find you way to Littleridge through the world map, or by talking to various NPCs scattered about Arlor.

Talk to various NPCs in Littleridge to guide you on your way through the Goblin Event.

At the northeast bridge you’ll find a portal into the Mission Dungeon to fight goblin minions and bosses.

Energy

It requires one Energy to get to Littleridge. You start with Three energy units. Energy can be obtained in a variety of ways:

Regeneration: Every 8 hours 1 empty energy slot will be filled with a new energy point. Your energy count can be seen in the small panel located at the top of your HUD. Energy count cannot exceed 3.

Loot Drops: Event bosses and chests have a small chance to drop energy points or kits to replenish an empty energy slot.

Crafting:For the duration of the event, all zones have a chance to drop Energy Essences. These essences can be crafted into 1 Energy Kit. It takes 1 hour to craft these kits. Crafted energy kits are character bound and can only be used on the character that crafted them.

Purchase Energy Kits: Tradable energy kits are sold in packs of 5 for 25 platinum on the Event Vendor, as well as by other players on the CS for gold.

Bane Item

The bane item is a premium item offered for platinum during each world event. For the Goblin Event, you have the option to purchase the Cleansing Stone which will protect you from the harmful effects of goblin poison. If you purchased one last year, it should still work for you.

Binding Elixir

Binding Stones are required to craft the Goblin Altar Relic. They only drop when you are under the influence of a Binding Stone Elixir (available from the Event Vendor). Binding Stones are tradable.

Goblin Elixir

The Goblin Crusher Elixirs will give you a 50% dmg boost in all event zones. They will last for 15 minutes and can be obtained through:

Tiered Rewards: You will obtain one Goblin Crusher Elixir for reaching Bronze Tier and 3 more for reaching Silver Tier
Elixir Vendor: A special vendor is standing in Littleridge to sell you Goblin Crusher Elixirs for 2 platinum each.
Crate Drops: Goblin Crusher Elixirs have a chance to drop from any Goblin Treasure Crate.

Goblin Altar Relic

A Goblin Altar Relic will be required to spawn a portal from any Goblin Altar found around Arlor. To craft a relic you will need the following:

- Goblin Altar Relic Recipe: Available for 75 tokens at the Event Vendor
- 5 Goblin Altar Relic Fragments (Drop)
- Binding Stone

Note the Goblin Altar Relic Recipe is now consumed on use!

This portal spawn is the only way to get to The Goblin Mother!

The Goblin Mother

The Goblin Mother gives a large number of leaderboard points and tokens, as well as dropping a cauldron full of human skulls!

Her miniboss Gobby drops a special vanity chest that opens for 100 tokens containing a piece of the new Burning Goblin vanity for a random class.

Solid.... I like......... "Be at CAP or LEVEL UP trying".......... Not to knock lower levels but, time we had some sort of separation from "non capped" players during events (intentionally burnt countless energies "AWOLing" the fight during the Marvel event due to ending up in map with 2, 3, and sometimes 4 below cap players......... If below cap during event, level to cap and catch the next one..... It's what I used to do...........

I hate the fact that we cannot craft Goblin horde crates by buying the recipe and adding a twilight massive. We were able to earn a lot of gold by stashing 300 goblin massive recipes and now we can't anymore. Anyways above that.... Thanks for the hard work STS.

It increases the odds for ALL allies, including yourself. Note that this is only on his base attacks, and as such you must use him as the base pet to gain the benefit

All versions of the Binding Elixir bought by Platinum or granted by rewards are the same Elixir with an allocated countdown timer. The kits are also tradeable and stashable!

Been in need of allowing the energy regen timer to pick up where it left off when you accidentally fill all 3 but, what would "really be good" is to have some sort of "solo PT indicator"...... It would be good during events because after solo energy farming, you tend to forget a lot and end up entering an event map by yourself to face 6 freaking Marvelous Villains (LMFAO @ me when I actually tried to take on all 6..... The "beat down" was swift...... LO"F'N"L)!!!........................... Maybe a reminder alert when attempting to enter "event maps" or some onscreen display that visually shows you are in a solo PT (just like when you are in a NON solo PT).....................................

Littleridge, the event zone, contains bosses that scale from 1-66. Only the Goblin Mother, found in the special Goblin Dimension that requires an Altar Relic to enter, is fixed at level 66. This works similar to Hugthulu Prime from the Lovecraft Event. All levels will be able to run the event normally, but the special Goblin Mother is meant for endgame players to deal with.

Everytime I join a map my screens zooms in and is only able to zoom out when I leave and join a town map. Samsung s6 edge btw

Don't know if this will help but, you can also zoom in and out by using your fingers to pinch the screen and increase or decrease zoom......... Place like your thumb and index fingers together and touch the screen like in the middle and "expand/retract" them to resize.......

On PC, the "wheel" button also allows you to get like a "zoom out" that is greater than what settings allows......

Maybe this can help....

Littleridge, the event zone, contains bosses that scale from 1-66. Only the Goblin Mother, found in the special Goblin Dimension that requires an Altar Relic to enter, is fixed at level 66. This works similar to Hugthulu Prime from the Lovecraft Event. All levels will be able to run the event normally, but the special Goblin Mother is meant for endgame players to deal with.

While we understand the frustration, Twilight Crates are old content and we aren't focusing on them moving forwardUsing the twilight crates is a good way to use old content.

I have to agree with you here, those one pull chests were worthless to me and my friends and I also feel like STS has heavily overused recoloring and I don't think its considered salt to say that I think that; especially since you gave ample evidence of it in your post before it was edited, one thing you forgot to mention as far as recoloring (even though its not really recoloring and just adding a aurora) is these heroic pets, we literally have 122 pets that are a copy and paste of original pets and the difference between the original and the heroic is the same; a buffed happiness and a identical aurora, even the arcane abilities stayed the same (or are they heroic abilities?:indecisiveness:), niche is exactly how I would describe recoloring and these smaller crates i.e. Hugthulu/Tavern Crawl/Mini-bunbun didn't do it for us, at least not what I feel STS was aiming for and I think the best way to fix this is making the chests drop less or reinstating the crafting using past massives

The entire event can be done by most levels. Only the Goblin Mother zone is 66.

The only thing is that events are "PVE", twinking is "PVP"...........

Any PVPer who wishes to wholeheartedly participate in PVE events and challenge the LB should have a PVE character/ALT that is conditioned for PVE and challenging PVE event LBs......

Just a thought.......

If it wasn't easy some players wouldn't have 3-5 lvl 66 accounts. Yes it gets a bit boring but hard work pays off eventually

Very excited for my first goblin event.
One doubt is that 25 token horded goblin chest really drops those items or its just a typing mistake shown in detail?Seems there are two chests I guess 25 token and 1500 token.
If that new Hoarded chest really drops those item and does not cost plat to open them then it will be awesome!![emoji4][emoji4]

Chester has to be the base pet, you can slot whatever in the other slot and it won't affect the gold loot buff (it's not a passive, it can proc on the pet's normal attack)

Just wondering if anyone can explain the reason why it's a part of the event????

Asking because it's annoying when momentum is stalled/slowed by reading the scroll after defeating event bosses.... Am I missing something?
