Read my post under Waug's. The gold sink isn't enough to stabilize PL's economy in the long run. Gold is scarce and hard to obtain. Therefore, a gold sink and ease of obtaining gold is necessary.

Yes, I was replying in support of both you and Waug when I used the quote, "Game designers must balance between scarcity of currency and ease of acquiring currency".


Pocket Legends has very few gold sinks and an abundance of gold faucets.

You might ask this guy to show the way to these abundance of gold faucets.

Yes, Tori has been behind the times in her offerings for a very, very long time and IMHO is due for an update.

Be sure to budget for the price increases in the cost of items sold for gold by the prize vendor.

Edit: it still might be a good idea to add the option to buy the items sold for gold, to be able to be purchased with plat as well. This would help some who can access plat but don't have enough gold to go the plat route. Plus it earns a little more revenue for the studio. Just a thought...

While it seems that the rules regarding the points system for this event will not be changing, maybe for future guild events do implement a system where points are only counted for the top 50. Also it would be cool to have a leaderboard for individual player scores of the event and reward the top 5 or 10 with something special, so people that don’t belong to a guild still have something to work for.

Is it possible to raise the rewards of golden bones? 3 times in a row i got 250 gold, and the max ive heard anyone has seen is 10k. I feel like it wouldnt be over powered for the minimum to be around 2,500 and max to be roughly 25k. I made 12.5k in about 30 minutes or more and dont see how its worth it for anyone.

Agreed. The drops are terrible. How did we end up with a special gold farming event that gives you less gold than the standard PL gold farming in plasma pyramid? I can think of many adjectives that would describe this event with extreme accuracy, but none of them are very polite

Agreed, the gold doesn't seem very good at all.... in 30 minutes i got less than 10k.

Ik we need to have a balance between gold sinks and faucets, but ik what I'm getting isn't going to come close to what I've spent on enchantments, let alone gold for amulets and wands.

I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, but I do agree with others.

The gold amount drop rate is very minimal:
250 gold
1,000 gold
2,000 gold
10,000 gold maxium (rarely seen)

As much as I appreciate lil golden bones returning, he is so stingy in gold drops this time around.


On a side note, I noticed Cinco's post about the plat cost to craft white dragon ranging from 100 to 300 plat per pieice.

However on game, in the Mad mages's maze (2 plat map)

The forbidden forge is offering:
700 plat to craft helm
500 plat to craft armor
900 plat to craft pet

Can we please get clarification as to what the plat price is for crafting each item please?

This is a nice perfectly timed event! The idea is there and it makes sense with gold being a factor in the next big event! Execution wise I would think about going back to the drawing board and giving more resonable drops (25-50k max) like old times and maybe extending the length of the gold event.

It's much more than a side note lol. And the prices you see in game reflect the facts. They raised them from 700 to 2100 plat, a 3x increase in price.

Every run has a drop from Aunt Emma (at least 1 drop if not multiple)
Finally got a golden bones spawn.
Guess what? The gold spawn gave me is 250.
Drops from Aunt Emma generally sell for over 250 gold....
RIP.... Why is 250 gold even a thing? Lol. I get it if we get a spawn ever game but it is not worth it rn... The minimum drop should at least be 2.5k if not more and spawn rate should be increased to make it somewhat worth it :)
Liked the idea of adding golden bones as many of us are running low on gold... Perhaps the White Dragon pieces can be crafted for 100-300 plat from the vendor in Guild Hall during the event and at the Myx forge for 2100 plat if one were to craft after the event?

Also, as others have noted, Golden Skeleton gold drops should be increased. I've mentioned this in the past. Hopefully we'll see an update that raises the gold drops, or perhaps a rework on the gold drops and another Golden Bones event in the near future.
