hey i have a question about the forums. i have been thanked 32 times which inst a problem but why when i highlight my forum rep bar it says" Glorious Beacon Of light", and when i look at someone elses profile, they have been been thanked less times than me, but they have more reputation?

Basically, giving rep using the green thumbs up will add +1 to rep while giving "Thanks" will give +2 and is recorded for all to see. If someone gets plenty of green thumbs they can amass plenty of rep without it being obvious to others who view. You may also have to account for neg rep and various other factors.
