Which better between the Lvl 66 Arcane Wep with Tainted set for Mage?
Especially to farm on Mauso

There are two general trains of thought with Mage- defense vs offense

Defensive builds might be characterized by heal &/or shield builds, str specs, guns for distance (lower damage survivor)
Vs
Offense might be characterized with 4 attacks skills, pure int spec, staffs for up close multiple enemy targeting (deadly glass cannon)

To each their own, I prefer staff and offensive choices to farm

Creeping Rifle is better, but staffs are better if you plan to only farm Mausoleum.

Ive never used tainted or either of those arcane weaps so I cant answer your question.

However, I can tell you most mages run with flame staff and drag staff in maus. Flame staff to clear the mobs, then drag staff to kill bosses. These 2 weapons are why people want to run with mages so much.
