Bronislav84 turns 36!

Bronislav (aka Karaai) hit the big 3-6 last night and things got slightly out of hand. :) The only sad part of the whole evening is that 1) you can only fit 5 people in a dungeon and Karaai has a bunch more friends than that! and 2) He really wanted Cappin (XP Machine) Clutch there, but the Cappin was not to be found in spite of thought waves and a forum PM being sent his way. :(

First, though, was the getting there:

Bron was a busy guy last night, but throughout the event, he smiled that gentle smile as he greeted his guests:

Last run to the finish line and so Bod, Ghost, Faebronia (TheQuickOne) all switch to their mains for the big finish and we all wear our Arbiter's Helms to bring Bron home:

The magic moment when 36 lands on you like a ton of bricks and you realize the grinding is over:

Then you pop over, give Deepspace a sharp poke in the ribs and say, "Oi! Where's my helmet?" First you have to figure out which one is actually Dan:

That's when it got a little out of hand. Suddenly, there was a metric boatload of helm and torch wielding Engies. We managed to get into a line. We did not manage to follow Bod's directions to make a "36". Sorry, Bod. A bit like herding cats, wasn't it? ;) :

It was great running with Octavos, Canon, and Bod, too! Thanks, as always, go to Canon for taking the screenies. A regular war-reporter, that one! ;)

I had a great time at the after-party. I knew Bron had some great friends, but was still amazed at the turn-out. Thanks to Neeric for lending me a pair of Welding Torches! Bod, sorry the coordination for "36" didn't work out. Next time we can try to make a "1", because you're number one!

Cappin, sorry you missed the party! Bron came to grab us all about two seconds after you logged off.

Thank you everybody! I love you all, and wish I could have taken a couple more people.

I tend to not use enhancers, except for the crazy amount of xp needed for 36. I started a bit from 34 then stopped again. For the elite level I was on 3x the whole time except near the end where it would be a waste of plat. I used three 2x for 5 minutes just to speed up the last 1k because any of the others would be a colossal waste of plat. I'm very frugal with my plat. Cost about 300 something plat in pure enhancers in total, with guild and Deal of the Day discounts.

The only sad thing is my kitty didn't come out. Poop. They seem to have a bug in them (At least I know it happens to the green one, and Quick confirmed it too) that they can disappear entirely after a while unless you zone or re-equip it.

So who wants to go killing the Figure now? Otherwise I'll be on my wee little Op.

Yeah, man. Cy/Doo/Neeric is awesome! And a great guy and a highly skilled player. I'm pretty sure he also reads forum entries from time to time. Maybe if we all try really hard, we can get him to sign up a forum account and join the family officially! That is, unless he is already amongst us in stealth mode... :rolleyes:

We never use any enhancer to achieve lv36. :D

Thank you Skel. Believe me, it's faster with enhancer, but still a tremendous grind. They don't make these elite levels easy.

It sounds like Cyric and you may have an issue to be resolved. If the issue between Cyric and you is too big, complex, or uncomfortable to be addressed privately and between the two of you, I am sure STS Support would be able to help. Alternately, you could also PM me and I could try to act as mediator between Cyric and you. To the extent possible, please avoid derailing Bron's thread further.

@ Bron: Congrats, again! And thanks also for posting on my L36 thread. As you mentioned in-game, this is the first time you have taken a character to level cap. We have that in common, as well! ;)
