Guild Event II - 3-Tiers, Top-10's...time and ending date?

Some of the players are confused on day and time the Guild II is supppss to end.

Is it suppose to end May 27 12:00am?

Taking my suggestion of 1st place gets blue angel/white drag shield/gold farming map. Then 2nd place gets white drag shield/gold farming map. Last 3rd gets just gold farming map? Its a better idea then giving everything to 1st place it would be better if prizes descended instead of a big gap like that.

The winner takes all. It’s just like previous guild event. Guild on the 2nd and 3rd place should be happy because they will get acces to the gold farming zone.

To make guild event successful later, there should just be a goal of points to unlock the vendor. For example, any guild that hits over 100k points unlocks the vendor. Any guild can win, and more than one can as well. Also with a goal such as 100k points, we won’t need to leave our home guilds to get the points because that amount is pretty realistic to hit with even just 10 people.

I think this is a good idea if you can get it to work by scaling big and small guilds equally. When I do an event I want to have to keep grinding until the last day. For a big guild 100k points would take 3 hours and then people stop farming and doing the event. If Cinco could find a way to scale big and small guilds nicely it would be awesome. I love this idea Xyzther. The only other problem you could run into is if you do scale big and small guild differently, a guild with 15 people but a lot of capped alts would look like a big guild and you could run into problems that way.

Another idea: I was wanting to suggest that we could try an events with points where those points allow you to buy things from a vendor for that event. This would be a fun way for people to grind a whole bunch and even motivate people more during the event.

Things could cost 10k 20k 30k etc points and you get to decide what you spend your points on!

All in all Cinco does his best to please everyone! Love the idea keep them coming!

What is consider a big guild and small guild these days? “Event Hunter” guild is in 4 place as the Largest guild. “The Pinoy Legends” are in third place for score PTs and they aren’t on the largest guild list. Pinoy guild exceeds the 2nd largest guild in scoring pts because they didn’t spend most or any time complaining.

When a group or someone complains about an event not being fair even though they have the numbers, it really looks bad. Especially when the comments are posted on the forum. The statements posted on the forum reflect the thinking of a person.


Have fun farming gold tomorrow. I’m sure you guys deserved it.

The rules were published. We all agreed and commented that it was a good idea and suggested that Cinco was the best.

If all the top 10 players in each guild farmed 18hrs straight and had 3 hours of sleep right after the event initiated, I am sure the contest would have been close. I doubt that is going to happen. Anyways, I did and I’m happy with the result.

Life isn’t about begging and receiving. It’s about commitment and putting the effort into a goal.

This is the 2nd Guild Event i have play, the drop mechanics of vanitys are really seriously flaw, using elixer luck and Paying 10 Plat to spawn Golden Skeleton to get 10 Points and also chance to drop special vanitys, i don't understand why not even once to drop any of this vanity after spending ridiculous amount of Plat, farming for 5 to 12 hours with Plat still unlucky getting vanity drop, this will discourage anyone from spending any plat during farming, Cinco you need to review the drop mechanics of this vanitys seems something seriously wrong.

Im just saying everyone has white dragon set why not let them help complete it or even wear be able to wear a different pet and still get the set bonus. Your only saying this because you are able to hoard it and prolly will be selling all of it for 20m each after event.

When u head to the casino, do some players get lucky by spending 1 gold vs another player with 100 gold? Lol I farmed 30 hours and got 2 eggs vs a player with no plat farmed 4 eggs in 4hrs. The luck they have. Somewhat like the lottery...

Just to be honest, Less than ~10 percent of the players own white sets now. Look in Towne and u will see. It’s sad but it’s a fact.

That's right and I mostly agree on that specially because it's coming from someone who is dedicated at farming, those things are right at their places but there's different aspect as well, that's nobody want a challenge, NOBODY, not even who is so dedicated that can farm 18h straight rather they find a safe place to ensure their win, the result is polarization. PL is small community everyone knows who farm hard, who use plat etc etc. So the basic aspect of a guild competition is still missing because of that polarization.

The events are new of it's kind and I'm sure it will evolve in a better way, current situation is far from that.

@Cinco Can we alter the white lightning shield and armor? It looks so dull compared to the helmet and it will be a while before someone will be able to get a hold of all 3 pieces for it to look good so for the meanwhile they each on their own should have a better lightning effect or something. I said it once and I'll say it again if your guild participated in the event in any way even if the whole guild got 1 point they should have access to the tier 1 gold farming map there should be no tier 2 or 3 first place gets the vendor and every other participating guild get to farm for gold. (Also first place)

Yeah, I'm slightly concerned with how the gold farming will be afterwards. The winning guild has around 25 people, and even if the map is amazing with the gold that it gives, 25 people can only bring so much gold into the game. I guess we will have to rely on PC to save the market, thank you all in advance.

Yes, that way the winning guild can actually make some real hefty profits from the gear purchased via the prize vendor. Otherwise good luck lol. It should stay as it is right now. No changes.

I would love to see new vanities on high price rather than low price. It’s a competition so I think guild who win the event should keep new vanities on high value. High price will make it more exclusive and show their hard work to win the event.

I find it interesting with players that are complaining about the event. Especially the same players that requested me to be in their own private plat groups. I rejected Reborn and another group because they wouldn’t accept a friend of mine before the event because he didn’t have plat. He went to GM of Reborn and got rejected. How does l105 with full elites set get rejected into the guild?

I believe it’s too late to complain. Players shouldn’t use this thread to make negative comment about event 2. Thread was for time and date event ends. Pls create another thread with “suggestion on Event 3”.

Haha I just love when people don’t read. Already explained how more gold in game does not equal true extra profit for selling vanities, as EVERYTHING is valued more. No worries, one day you fellas will take economics, should you choose to pursue an education. The suggestion really was to help out the majority. Regardless of maps available to 2nd and 3rd place, those that want to make a bunch of gold off this event will do so. I myself will not be buying bulk vanities for profit, but I will definitely be taking advantage of the gold farming map, it is quite nice. Seeing all this attention being given toward me and my guild really makes me smile, I never knew so many people had such a profound obsession of us!

Cinco, might wanna lock this thread up. As much as I like seeing people overreact over a game, the intentions for this thread were nothing of the sort. If any of you would like to continue this fascinating discussion, my inbox on this forum should be open. Alternatively, you can always make a provocative thread elsewhere on this forums of which I am sure will not be locked within a day of its creation. Now that the event is over, I will just say this: you all played good, we just played better. Hopefully future events will implement a system where there is not a handful of winners, and every guild can win a vendor/prize if a certain point amount is reached. At the end of the day, this is just a game so please don’t take everything so seriously. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, if some of you took schooling as serious as you take this game you wouldn’t ever be arguing on here because you’d have the assets to purchase STS entirely and change the game to however you desire.
