Need help plz

Alright I want to start a talon+wing bear if anyone can give me tips on sum stats allocation and skill layout for it would be a good help I have loads of cash so thts not a problem and guys I am starting from level one!

If you're leveling it up, go pure dex. It's the easiest and simplest way to maximize a talon/wing bear.

No need to worry about dual spec-ing yet, it also gives you the easiest way to level due to the range you have + your skills.

You'd want to max Rage to 6 as soon as you get it. Save skill points if you have to. I believe it becomes available at level 10, so as soon as you hit level 5, save your skill points for Rage at Lv 10.

1 in Stomp and in each slash when possible.

Next must max skill is Beckon at 22. Again, save skill points. Then max Stomp. The rest is up to your playstyle, but these three skills are essential to max as soon as possible.

my favorite kind of bear... a ranged, mobile tank!

stats: i think that just enough dex to wear whatever it is you want, and the rest to str gives you the best skill damage. considering talons are pretty weak, that will be the majority of your damage.

skills: wish i could log in and give you a screenshot... lets see if i remember...

-beckon and stomp are the two things you should max out, first, punto. effective stunning, collection, and damage combo.
===technique: find a corner, or a wall in general, and beckon all the mobs to that one spot. move out a little, and stomp them into that one singularity for good measure. rinse and repeat.
-the slashes are not nearly as necessary. the only slash that really matters to me is crippling, due to it being able to stop bosses on their tracks too.
-RAGE. max it. it will be your damage output maximizer, simple as that. nothing will stand against you.
-ironblood is quote necessary for you, considering you dont have full str equipment. evade is also important, but i prefer to make sure i dont get hurt badly instead of rely on a little more luck.
-a good taunt can relieve the pressure from weaker members, but remember: your main goal is to beckon and stomp continually. you are not a str bear, you cant take everything.

...i cant remember anything else. those where my mantras as a bear, and it has been a while. talon bears are murder early on, but due to the (lack of) power of talons in general they get weaker as you progress, and you might become a full out bow-bear by the time you get to 50. makes for a good switch, talons for mobs and bows for bosses. good luck!

Yea this is good xD cuz today im buying well I bought 165 plat have not recieved yet :( tryna get help but w.e buy ill be spending on elixers to level easy so no prob on tht but one question do I need all the slashes really since im ranged?

Agree. I've always prioritized damage in the lower levels due to Rage. Just too easy. Lol.

Technically, no, since you'll be aiming to kill the mobs from a distance or via a Stomp combo. But the slashes do make a very good nuke chain if used with Rage. Good for bosses too.

slashes are never ranged, sorry. i only use them on bosses or mobs that get too close, to stun or immobilize them.

as for elixers for leveling, you dont have to. trust me, some of the best fun is to actually level up the characters and enjoy all the different areas. as soon as you reach the level cap, you are pretty much stuck there. either farm the same area, or just go god mode in too easy areas.

Truer words, never been spoken. whole reason i stress stomp/beckon maxing early on is to give noob mages all the help they need in lower levels. AOE damage FTW!

sorry, another age, another time, another level cap. My mage knowledge is almost entirely made of pally making and a bit of dexchantress. i do use all int, but not often enough to have as much advice for.
