So is anyone else thinking these mythical pistols are in vanity loot table? Meaning they have same drop rate as vanities.
I've ran about 35+ times and haven't seen well really anything good atleast if you call blade tech arms phat loot.
I'm just wondering your guys thoughts on this.

I think they do have the same drop rate as vanities. Vanities are very rare to get as drop, so that may be why these pistols don't drop much

I believe they have vanity drop rate. In the video they warn that he "wont give them up easily". I've yet to see a single one yet so yeah...

Probably not.
Vanities can drop to any level.
I'm thinking the Legendarys can only drop to the L35s?
Which would probably hint at a sum drop rate that ends up being lower than vanities!

The Pistols are very rare, but I can guarantee they are there in the loot table and they drop.

Yes indeed they are rare. But hey they wouldn't be Legendary if they were easy to get I guess.

It's great that they really are legendary.
I'd rather not have one and only see a handful of people walking around with them, rather than have one and see 50 other people rocking one as well.

Im the one who got one to drop. Tons of rumors flying about how these drop. Yea i did get it as a second drop (first was a random green). I bought the new luck elixir right before boss. People are saying you need to save hostages for one to drop, we didnt. Other than that it was my first run after the patch that made them available.

LOL saving hostages. That's a good one.
I can't wait for people to start kicking from games with the reason that you can only have 1 engineer to get a pink drop or anyone with custom armor stops chances of pinks. Yay!

wait, let's say that yur first drop is the pink gun and then u have that 100% reroll elixir on is it possible for u to get like a crappy second crappy drop(orange)?(I can imagine this scenario happening to a person and i won't blame him if he rages)

I got orange polysynth boots and then the pink as a second drop and without elixirs.
Exactly the same way I got a recipe from the mysterious dude.

well you would never know what the first drop was anyways...lol
Pretty sure rerolls only come into play if the rerolled drop is better. Otherwise it just cancels.

The second person to get one didnt use an luck 'potion' at all. Just good traditional plain old luck :)
Apparently 3 are floating about 2 'The Guttersnipe' (Handheld Crossbow) and 1 Plat blade looking one, no name yet :p

Rerolls can only increase the color, not decrease it. Meaning if you got a pink and it rerolled and the second was an orange, it would let you keep the pink not the orange. :)

nope not like that its "reroll for better loot" if its 25% then it means one in every four drops gets a reroll and if its 100% every drop gets a reroll if its a bad drop, if you get a pink it wont reroll, the elix only gives reroll for bad loot, thasts all it does, not make the drop better your reroll can get same drop or worse even, think of it this way, you get two chances at bad drops instead of just one - at least thats how I think it woiks would like someone to confirm this or explain if the elix actually gives you better loot, which it doesnt seem to, all it does is give another chance for better loot
