i think all old players/account had 500 slot automatically... but having a new Account or Toon will just give u a starter slot of 25

i dont know how anyone can really like... farm... with only 25 slots. i take up around 300-400 just from picking up things as i go along. heck you need more than 25 things for quests too.

They were giving 500 slots to older accounts but stopped because "it was affecting server stability and gameplay" but buying them and maxing doesn't somehow so....

I was forced to buy additional slots from auction twice, just for completing some quests, at a time when I was a new player and didn't have a lot of gold to spend. :(

Umm. It's an issue with new players i agree on that.

Any other opinion really doesnt hold much weight for very obvious reason.

There is a solution... And please dont take thus as a TroL as its not :D.

This has been brought up again and again, Devs either don't think it's worth their time or the revenue from this is better than the scope of encouraging new players to stick to the game.

Multiple solutions have been provided, nott one response yet.
I wrote this thread a year and half ago and they said they feel it’s fair and expect people to do offerss or farm gold. They just tired of repeating

I seemed to have missed on that discussion, or maybe I've forgotten?

Most people have to resort to VPN's just so they can do plat offers that are decent. I'm nott very keen on doing any kind of offers or breaking RW laws. For those people who can't do offers that give more than 1-2 plat per offer(even the best offers for these people are like 50-100) it makes no sense to spend their first 200k just so they don't have to clear inventory after every map.

They really should rethink the 25 craft inventory for starters or add an alternate way for them to acheive the slots.

I would be 100% okay with being able to buy craft inventory slots using story tokens, or any other token tbh.

they should make it more friendly for new players, like gifting them at the start of the tutorial or something cause only 25 is annoying

There are tons of posts on forum every day and you can’t really remember everything if it’s nof relevant to you.

My thread was about not being able to craft glintstone set because you needed 30 nomerite ingot for crafting items to turn it quest but you can only have 25 spaces so there was prerequisite to that quest e.g. giving more space.

This is the thread with a more in-depth of it then mine so I decided to share dev response here: https://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?371406-Request-500-inventory-space-for-Alts/page2

Summary: it causes a lot of server issues like lags and disconnection if people have that much space so it’s limited on other characters and most of the time, people only make alts to try other char (at that time) so they reduced it. And offers and farming etc reasons.

Doubt this will cause the servers to blow up >_>

Exactly. Making players buy them somehow doesn't affect the gameplay or stability of servers...

First character on a new email ID gets 100 crafting slots

Nope, I got only 25 slot when I started; and I didn't create any alts yet btw

sorry I should've phrased it better,

" maybe a solution for this crafting slots problem for new players would be...

Oh, now it makes sense. And I think that's a pretty good suggestion

New players have it easier than ever now. So they have to buy slots and a trading permit - big deal. Back in my day it took me weeks to work through the maps. You had to save gold wherever you could get it and buy your own gear in auction to make you strong enough to complete bosses. I can't even remember how many tries it took to kill that big Kraken crab. Now you get it all given to you. Lvl 50 in a day. The comments implying it's a money making scheme are unfair. Without servers we don't have a game so it makes sense to limit things.

You make thread about buying those cheap pots, and now you are telling new players to buy expensive craft slots? That's very fair of you
