We are pleased to announce the launch of the new Mount Fang expansion for Pocket Legends

Mount Fang is a new free campaign for all players of Pocket Legends. Designed for players level 59+, this campaign offers sinister new challenges, bosses and loot to acquire! The level cap has expanded to 65 (66 for the elite!). For those who do obtain the elite level of 66, a new special Legendary vanity armor is available in Peak Fang Towne at the Fallen Prince. The Fallen Prince's previous vanity shield is no longer available.

if this was meant to be a surprise then good job of that... i was surprised. but in the future i would appreciate if we cud get more of a heads up as to when the new lvl cap will be raised. even though i reached lvl 61 on time a simple 1-2 week notice wud be nice to know because personally, i feel a 3 week notice is just a bit too broad.

If someday your Boss/teacher ask u to finish the work/assignment within 3 weeks. At the end they didnt give u credit because you didnt finish in 10 days. Don blame them.

Personally, I'm genuinely disappointed with the timing of the release and am gonna defend my right to give STS some feedback on the matter.

I had my expectations set by STS, had set aside three days solid well in advance of the 24th, had a heap of plat and the goal of the vanity shield. That sadly isn't gonna happen now and I'll not have the chance for the vanity so I think I have every right to say why I'm disappointed and raise the issue on the appropriate thread. (for info I've gone into more detail directly to STS)

You have one view and I have a differing one, that's what makes the world such a beautiful place, but the problems only arise when people don't respect each others view. I'm not saying you need to agree but at least respect their view and show some sort of empathy and maybe even some valid reasons why you don't agree.

Frankly, I find it astonishing that people haven't been more understanding of the people who hadn't quite reached 61. I'm relatively lucky, I still have my plat, but many people don't.

Could I point you in the direction of this thread (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?42380-Quitting) which highlights exactly why there are so many people worried about posting on the forums. Comments like this arent going to encourage people to speak honestly and give STS balanced feedback, both positive and negative.

I'm disappointed you think it's hilarious that people have been unfortunate with the timing of the release and want to raise this with STS. It's this kind of feedback that allows STS to manage the next release better, to reduce the amount of people negatively effected and to improve the game for the future.

I'm not going to comment any further but feel free to PM me if you want to know the reasons I haven't levelled previously or are vaguely interested in understanding my view.

Woah. I don't think my meaning was conveyed very well. What I find hilarious is the fact that no matter when the content is release someone somewhere will be deeply dissatisfied. It's the nature of having "elite" rewards with deadline. No matter when the deadline is it will frustrate someone somewhere. Basically I find it hilarious because it is a situation where someone somewhere will be forced to loose. I am not finding it hilarious that you missed out on a reward, I am finding the whole situation hilarious when I step back and look at the original intent behind elite rewards vs the results.

If I mangaged to hit 61, with no elixers except last 10k most people should have. I have two jobs and work 70+ hours a week. I only played 1-2 hours Max a day including weekends. Also I got there before Halloween, so you really can't complain .... u knew it was coming yet you got mad. On a side note, MT fang is awesome!! Great job devs

I understand his feeling. There was some post that it will be nov 21 or might be im wrong so exact date should have been announced first. Running nuri map 1 is not enjoyable when you just run for getting 50k exp IMO. If SG/GoA/AoA means nothing then it shouldn't exist. What I do see is that in almost every other case I can point to, the "Guards" (all roles) behave as I'd think they should - measured, polite, supportive. This is the job you signed up for. If you want to gripe openly and freely, get another forum login - I would understand. I think I deserve more from a guard.

I really feel sympathy for those who tried to reach cap to get their vanity shield but mt fang was "sudden released". I have my vanity crown and shield actually but feels me bad for the others. I know sts have their own reason for this and this forum is a good way to clarify things. They said 3 weeks to go for lvl 61 but i think it was not 3 weeks but correct me if im wrong. Anyway hope players affected will still play to get a new vanity item at 66! :)

An announcement as to by when the update comes out sure is lack of notice.

I would suggest reading properly next time. Less than 3 weeks. < 3 weeks. Not In three weeks, = 3 weeks. They could have released it the day after the announcement and still be valid.

If players are really displeased, why do the servers seem to be overloaded from the amount of players logging in/logged in? Why do we have a 66 after the first 24 hours?


I really feel sympathy for those who tried to reach cap to get their vanity shield but mt fang was "sudden released". I have my vanity crown and shield actually but feels me bad for the others. I know sts have their own reason for this and this forum is a good way to clarify things. They said 3 weeks to go for lvl 61 but i think it was not 3 weeks but correct me if im wrong. Anyway hope players affected will still play to get a new vanity item at 66! :)

I sympathize for them as well, must suck to be so close yet have it taken away from you, but nobody is at fault here. Like mentioned, STS never said it would be in 3 weeks. In fact, it said less than three weeks. It's not the player's fault for trying to 61, nor is it STS' for releasing the content. It's just unfortunate.

Where's the false information? Sts stated 'within' 3 weeks, and 'in time for' thanksgiving, never said it would be out exactly on 24th.

This was rude to who? STS? For the poor treatment of their customers that has many of us upset? I see justifiable upset, not rage. I see statement of how it impacted him, not rude. If SG/GoA/AoA means nothing then it shouldn't exist. What I do see is that in almost every other case I can point to, the "Guards" (all roles) behave as I'd think they should - measured, polite, supportive. This is the job you signed up for. If you want to gripe openly and freely, get another forum login - I would understand. I think I deserve more from a guard.[/QUOTE]

it was supposed to come out ages ago but they changed it to please the community you cant please everyone they cant just think of you people will complain that its taking to long. the release has been delayed a month for people like you and me they didnt just decide to release it now they would have thought of it. they have there reasons.

I'm sorry you're unhappy Elly. I still value all the guides/posts you've contributed that have helped so much. I'm sorry you are apparently (from what you are pointing out) no longer GoA - I take no meaning from that but can understand if it has something to do with how you seem to feel.

STS would be the last to say "I told you it would be within 3 weeks so anything less than 3 weeks is fair game!" (It is the disgruntled players saying that. They can give specific dates.) We're not disagreeing about the lack of notice, just about how Zal posted.

I don't see more to be gained from further replies to this part of the thread, I hope by dropping it we can gain more, or lose less.

Where does "ages ago" come from Corpser? The teasers from the previous release when people were begging for it to come out "now, now, now"? And some people (in the survey, go back to before you joined) were asking for as late as February 2012? The thread quoted above said "by Thanksgiving". As for timing, all I ask is that they tell us precisely, more or less (as in 'no sooner than'), when it will be out. Release all the levels to 100 in the next 2 weeks, that's fine -I'll come back after they're out and then work on a predictable timeline. The issue is, just like with the "events" - 'Hi all, we had an event last weekend where you didn't get to join in cuz we didn't tell you!', we didn't know when to plan.

I have a job, a wife, I plan - and I have money to spend here. I will only continue to spend money if I'm valued as a customer.

Elly is one of the respected and might be one of the best players here so i do not argue with him. I just wanted to point out that devs should have utilized the forum as well. Saying less than three weeks is a subset of saying less than a year. Theres a vague implication of less than if i were them ill use the content will be updated sooner at least after xxx weeks. Well just imo. Sorry for off topic. The boss is hard to kill and really challenging very nice!
