Hey guys.
Bad news.
I had to get early from school today to grind to 61.
And the thread said less than 3 weeks.
Well, my friends told me it was in two weeks.
I wanted to believethat but i got an urgent tug to play today.
And it turns out flip was on.
And said 1 hour till update.
I decided to wager EVERYTHING.
I bought 75 Plat.
And used my first 4x combo.
I started to grind at 87k exp.
And i got to 90.5exp before system shut down.
I dont know now.
Thanks so much to Adam and Rosettes.
You two are the best and kindest people ever.
You guys potted 4x combo with me and grinded your best.
We did our best.
But in the end, We failed.
If this is indeed mt fang, i will have no shield. Ever.
And this might be the last of me. Possibly.
There's a good chance that I will quit if I spent 20+ hours on grinding with 1.5s and TEN dollars on a last attempt to 61 that totally goes against my ethics.
Or i will be very mad, and be done with pvping and using the forums.
I hope STS will see that sometimes it may not be a good idea to rush campaigns like this.
But now, the time comes. I will wait and see if mt fang is truly out.
And you will know why I will be gone.

Respectfully, these items are for the elite. I barely make it to the level before the cap before the new update. Like school, you can study for a test several days in advance, or you can try to cram in two minutes. Please stay :)

There's always another elite item.
There's only so many vanity slots they can use for a bonus before they have to cycle through older elite vanities.

Sorry to hear. I have always been let down in the announcement area when it comes to major updates (level cap raises) in STS games.
Yes they tell us its being released well before it happens.
No we never get an official date of these level cap raises weeks before hand.
Imo, any MMO needs official dates set for these updates. It would give the users time to meet their goals & not left in the same situation as your story above.
Anyways, sorry again. Hope you decide to stick around.

Not to be Debbie Downer but whirlz don't just quit cause you couldn't cram xp at the last minute to get to 61. You really should make that your soul objective from the jump if you really wanted to get elite item and cap. This is coming from someone who has in the past tried the same as you and failed lol.

I was grinding my bear this morning... I thought I had until the 24th - what a disappointment using all those plat when I could've used it for Mt Fang.
Congrats to all who made it.... Serves me right for believing false information fed through this forum (my own fault).

Yes, I did get the shield after all.
What I will say is that I made a mistake and slacked off once I reached 60, instead of grinding immediatwly to 61. This time, I WILL sieze the day and get 66 in time.
