Forum-titles

I just noticed, that i got a new forum title (member). This made me thinking about the different forum-titles

There are serveral forum-titles like:

Junior Member
Member
Forum Adept
Senior Member
Luminary Poster


Does anyone know how they are calculated/rewarded? I guess that its a combination of Posts and Thanks. But i am not totally sure about it.
There are also titles which are most likely rewarded manually like the "Tournament & Ladder Leader" title of XghostzX (https://www.spacetimestudios.com/member.php?11182-XghostzX)

Yes. Those titles you mentioned are based on post count. I'm not quite sure the number of posts needed for each title, but there is a thread somewhere on forums that details each title. I'll try finding it.

As for other special titles like "Tournament & Ladder Leader," these titles were given in the early days of PL. Ghost received his title because of his significant leadership within the community and proving that he could host fair and honourable tournaments using the special PL bracket system that we have on forums. Unfortunately, we don't use the bracket system on forums anymore and use challonge brackets instead because I believe it's easier to manage and not exploitable.

Of course, there are other titles such as "Guardian of Alterra" for those who showed a significant amount of dedication, passion, leadership and helpfulness in the earlier days of this game and were rewarded with the title and coveted shield. I believe there's also one for Blackstar as well (Star Legends).

You were able to at a point receive custom forum titles as prizes. Hahahahabirdy (right amount of ha's?) for example has one called 'Da Bear!' for winning a bear 1v1 tournament back in the sewers cap. These however, aren't given out anymore.
