Only hoarders dont want zavier to drop arcanes and heroics.

More people having good pets means that runs will be faster, as good pets increase run speed. This will especially help in randoms as quite often randoms are "undergeared" and use cheap/useless pets.

I hope STS slows down the speed of speedsets if it's eggzavier or similar type event. The prince levlar event I did not enjoy or participate much due to frustration bcuz speedset users got to him and killed him before I got there. Same gonna happen for me during eggzavier. Or mebeh just increase their armour a tad, so my slow poke self can catch up.

Anyway, could be a totally new event with egg vendors and new locks for heroic eggs.

Hopefully it is indeed a new event, and i suggest you drop the 2mil to get a speed set. Worth every single penny even just a nox will do.

People do not want this event for valid reasons not just greediness. There are better ways to give new players a chance than BREAKING the market for EVERYONE

Why do people always say it will break the market? All other gear will have the same value regardless of egg prices, so only the pet market will take a hit. And for 99% of players, cheaper eggs would be a good thing as it would allow them to expand their stable and buy pets they normally couldnt afford. Everyone adds more pets to their stable, everyone makes money selling the eggs they loot. Based on this, EVERYONE would be a lot happier with eggzavier even if it does "break the market".

Nobody farms eggs outside of eggzavier event. 95% of them arent even lootable anymore, and the ones that are lootable are next to worthless. This will not hurt any farmers, only the hoarders who hold on to all the rare eggs in order to make a profit for themselves.

Now that slotting is a thing these eggs aren't just useless once you own them. don't you think it's a bit unfair to disregard the people wjo have spent irl money on this game and make the eggs they spent tons on available by farming? I dont hoard eggs and having an eggsavier wouldn't hurt me but it's very unintelligible to make an event that ruins egg prices to the point that locks become utterly useless

I’m no expert on economics so I’ll just ask a question , during egg event, egg prices will drop so does that mean speed set prices will rise? It seemed obvious to me that the speed set prices will rise , but I just want to reconfirm

Nowadays you could see a timber pet but it could be a 20m gold pet.Problem with this is that if people loot these good eggs(which only a small few will speed up any runs) will jist sell off the eggs for profit anyways.

Yes some want the eggzavier event for aps but most just want it to make profit. I for one have been against this event, alot better ways to give away eggs.i literally have ZERO eggs stashed or hoarded but see the ramifications of doing this event. I say find a better way to do the event then to just run tombs and farm eggs like candy.

And yes, speed set will rise a little i assume, given its the whole run tombs over and over again -_-.

Philosofically I’m against a whatever zavier.....being a grinder I like goals and to reach them through effort.
Egg zavier in his first edition was (IMO) too much. Arcanes are supposed to be ....arcanes and looking at people dropping Nekro (for example) while I went through months of farming to obtain it was a little “wtf”.
Eggzavier in his last edition was ok, being able to loot up to Mythic.
What personally I really don’t like is when aps are related to it.
Goals are goals, and imagine a vanity-zavier, spirit zavier, armor zavier, weapon zavier etc. Why to grind or put any effort? Just stay in town merching waiting for the next zavier!

I am not sure, what event will be next, maybe eggzavier, maybe not, but i do think, that 1 day (24 hours) of eggzavier event arcane and heroic pets could be added to loot table. I think, this will satisfy everyone. Or make "happy hour" - Community goal (Farm 100k eggs (just example) and arcane/heroic pets will be added to loot table for 1 hour). There are plenty options. By the way, i am also fine with mythic eggs as best loot.

Some people make it sound like zavier will only be good for the poor. The thing is, zavier is good for everyone. If a poor person loots a nekro, they open it. If a rich person opens a nekro and already has one, they sell it. Poor people have the opportunity to expand their stable or make a profit, whereas rich people as well make a profit. Its a win-win for both.

And to the people saying how its unfair that people would get cheap eggs, how is it fair to the people who werent around for the first eggzavier? Nekro, mishi, samael, whimms, all the nowadays expensive pets that are 10m+ used to be under 2m each during the first zavier. So people back then could buy all of the pets I just listed for the same price a todays person could buy only one of them. How is this in anyway "fair"? Sure some people have worked hard and paid full price, but many have spent only a fraction of the todays costs on pets. Zavier dropping heroic and arcanes would make these prices more reasonable again.

And for those who still disagree, heres a possible solution. What if zavier rarely dropped arcanes and heroics but the eggs would be untradeable? This would ensure egg prices still stay high yet people would be able to farm hard in order to get the pet of their dream. Any thoughts?
