Sale on plat?

Anyone ever seen a sale on plat? Know if the are going to have one soon? I am planning on making large purchase but would hate to do so and then they have a sale.

You can get 2k play for $80 I think and you won't get charged tax

Never seen a sale in over a year of playing... but I'd be willing to bet STS would cash in with even a small discount. Maybe even a coupon code that you could only use once for instance.
