A selectionof Heroics is gonna drop from normal Eggzavier. And all Mythics (so who spent plat couple months ago for Grimm and recently opened locks for Oconi is as happy as you)

It’s on preview:
EggZavier is allegedly the undead beastmaster, whose loot table contains every egg in the game, up to and including Mythic rarity*. This year he will also drop a selection of HEROIC Eggs... find him and kill him for a chance to get the egg you always dreamed of!
* Arcanes are excluded to preserve rarity
Eggzavier only hangs out for 30 seconds, so catch him while you can!

You gotta realise STS' first and foremost reason for making games is to make money, but a lot of people don't realize this.
Want less content locked behind ingame purchases? sure, but then you would have to pay money in another way, perhaps by adding a price to the game.
Usually the platinum priced items are merely luxuries. You do not need the elixir to get drops, but it unlocks a chance to get arcane eggs. You don't need this elixir to play the event, and perhaps you should just be happy that they added heroic eggs to the pool, because they could have just removed the arcane eggs/limited them without adding anything else.

Lets not speculate, expereince it and then give feedback. Its different than the 1st and the 2nd one, lets see how it goes.
On the other hand, free games dont last long, the fact is development and hosting costs. Small casual games are powered by dopamine and micro-transactions; read about that and you will understand the game and its audience.
I personally like to play and spend on payed subscription based games, they are rich in content, true to genre, and most importantly they are fair to all with no VIP tags. Having the best gear and LB standings matter there, they are earned not bought. My point is: know the game you are playing and keep expectations to that level, life will be less disappointing :) Cheers mate.

Maybe you should read the information (event preview) instead of listening to rumors from ignorant sources.

One of the reasons arcane eggs don’t drop without a cost is because then the market will crash. STS don’t want to just make it pay to win(you can farm for these eggs anyway), but also they are trying to protect the state of the economy.

I cannot say i dont believe how much whining there is about this event but needless to say its so sad. Unreal the amount of players in game dissatisfied with this years zavier -_-.
Within an hour ive seen dozens of players saying they arent going to play the event ect ect. Just enjoy the event, wow!
Compare this to last years zavier, its better. Buy plat, do offers, pay gold to players that so you can run with them or(OR!) just be happy that he can drop heroics...grow up guys, this is a business.
