Do I really need a guild ?

looking for a good active guild. joined one a while back, only to find very few members on-line. about the only perk was the reduced potion prices. I would think that, besides the comradery, higher level members should help the lower ones, those that are knowledgeable should help out other that are not so knowledgeable with their stats and such. Heck, I would even give out pinks I come across to members that could use them. I'm thinking that there has to be a guild out there that I can contribute to.
