How about an item lottery machine/daily giveaway type of thingy?
For example you pay 3 plat/an item of such and such rarity/a specific item and you roll.
I'm sure this will be one great addition to the game, also will bring many new players in.
(IK guys, it's hazard, but what is the ITEM.MOD machine?)

This however is something you have to pay for to get items.
