View Full Version : 65 int gear - what to buy? >_<
Hey all. I'm about ready to upgrade my gear, but just to make sure I don't make the wrong investment I thought I'd ask here first :) So...I like being a nuke mage but I also like having a set bonus ('cause special effects are pretty);) Which set is the set for me? And if it turns out I can't afford 65 gear, is the new gear like Nuri's where 61 and 63 also make sets?

61 and 63 do make sets, as well as the 65. The 65 is the only one craftable though. For INT, I think only Lilith makes sets.

Short-term go for level 63 Chirpotera gears (of the fang) i.e. Chiroptera Cowl of the Fang, Chiroptera Wand of the Fang, Chiroptera Robe of the Fang, and Vampiric Bracer of the Fang. That should boost your armor to an all time high for decent survivability (I'm assuming you're a pure INT mage like me). If you're either 65 or 66, you should have between 400-420 Int by now depending on your ring and face mask. With this item build, you can expect to put some hurt with your nuke and not die quickly (in fact, you can tank a little bit). I find myself not really salivtaing for crafted set since this one does the job pretty well as far as PVE, in PVP, another story. Liliths have better crits but have lower armor. I personally prefer armor since I'm pure build, if I die, those crits are useless anyway. Level 65 counterparts of these items are just too high for their prices, the level 63's are the best your money can buy at this point. These items should cost between 700-1,000,000M depending on how market plays out during the day. Hope this helped.

Lilith is expensive and almost absent in cs. Your best bet (for now) is Chiroptera of the gang gear for a lot of armor. I have all 61 chiroptera (63 for the armor) and I get a whopping 202 armor! ( + a 9 armor dex ring and a 5armor founders vanity helm)

At lv 65, the bracver itselfd is like 3mil
Oh my bank account! :miserable: Yes, I think I'm going to be a *little* bit of a Scrooge (to go with the coming season of course ;)) and stick with something that won't wipe me out!

Chiroptera is te way to go! What beats cheap Survivabilty for mages? NOTHING :p
