Level 56-60 Gear for an Unstable Nuke?

I currently have a Level 55 Mage I am thinking of leveling to 60 with the lowered exp needs, but I am not going to be playing the Mage past level 60. I still do love running around in the lower level's blowing shet up, so I am wondering what the best gear for that is. No need for a wand/bracer set, as defense is really not an issue at all, just looking to maximize AOE damage. I have looked at the staffs, but some are 'lower' damage, so I am assuming they might have an AOE component to them, which could be an option.
So which Nuri staffs / gear has the highest damage?
Which Nuri Staffs have AOE damage?
How much more damage does a basic 'set' have?
Can you get set bonus with sub-60 gear?
How much more damage does individual crafted gear have?
How much more damage does the Crafted set have?

If the craft/sets does not add too much damage, I might just chill at a lower level, like 56 or 58.

56,58, and 60 gear makes sets. All nuri's staffs (the non trash glyph ones) are aoe. The crafted demonic staffs have most damage, but it's like a 10 pint difference lol. I stuck wit a lv 58 set the whole time
