On my galaxy tab the SL (and PL) shortcuts disappear from the "desktop" when the tab is rebooted. (thankfully putting them back from the app list is easy enough)

This has been happening in PL since day-one for me, more than a year ago, and it's still present in SL.

This may very well be a galaxy tab issue, I really dunno. Those with other androids can shed a light on that. This may also have been reported, but I couldn't find it using the search. And this really is not that big of an issue, but I thought that it makes sense to mention it because this is the only app I have that has this anomaly.

Keywords: shortcut, android, galaxy tab

Hmm, I wonder what I'm doing differently then...

I've tried both keeping the icon pressed in the menu and dragging it to the desktop as well as making the shortcun directly to the desktop. Reboot and they're gone. Oh well, like I said, not a problem just letting you all know.

It's because you have PL/SL installed on the sdcard and the shortcut points to that. Move from sdcard to internal memory and then you'll have to redownload the patch but should be fine after that.
Uninstall then reinstall. Before running move app to internal storage. Then run app to update patch. Then shortcut it. That's how I do it on my druids to keep from losing shortcuts.
