Yeah, I assume it’s normal on tablets/large screens (my iPad, Mac), but weird or stretched on phones/smaller screens (like my iPhone).

It should look somewhat closer to how it was before if you patch (log out and back in). Part of the problem is that the old version was being distorted on widescreen devices, and the new one fixed that, but people are primarily used to seeing it on a particular device.
