Buying Platinum with SMS?

I've been asked by many people about why they couldn't buy Platinum with SMS.
Can anyone confirm if they can't or why not?

They can't be it's not available. Sta would have to take it up with the phone companies to get their money, which could get troublesome. The only ways are in game, amazon, and google checkout on pocketlegends.com or starlegends.com
