What do you listen to playing AL?

Hey! Its me again, a follow up question from my previous post of, "what do you eat while playing Al".

Well, I for one is the type who listens to music while playing, I usually listen to Twice's songs (K-pop girl group band) hehe, but when I'm in the mood, I go for the natural background music and effects from the game itself.

Music relieves stress, expresses expressions whenever and to make the gameplay seem natural and seemless. Would like to hear from you guys!

And some questions, such as, "does listening to music while playing Al satisfy your needs?".

Yet again, this thread maybe another unecessary thread, but this can show the communities genre's of music are, composer, producer and such. I'm also curious about it hehe.

Each to their own but I like all kinds of music except jazz. My favourite performer is Sia at the moment but my tastes vary from one day to the next depending on my mood and who I decide to be when I wake up. It also depends on what I'm doing, for instance...I wouldn't listen to Chandelier whilst chatting or perusing the auction or typing on here. Now I shall go and look through my playlist. Oh.. someone told me to look up a really old song, I can't remember exactly what it's called. Alabama Moon or something like that. It has been covered by various artists but I listened to the really old original version on YouTube and fell in love with it. It's so surreal and a bit spooky. I like listening to that one when I have Gy location on. I must admit it did scare me a bit but that was when I was "easily scared Susie". My nearest and dearest has just mastered playing the ukele..I can tolerate it now but I preferred it when he played his guitar. I don't like music to be inflicted on me, that's why I hid his banjo. I buried it in the sand when the tide was out. 😔..or was that someone else? 🤔

Probably best to go keep away from playing AL whilst in this mode..I shall only end up making all my alts do story quests and clean inventories out. Lol Music is rooted into human since prehistoric time!! it is one of the thing that distinguish us from animal, some enjoy it, some don't but one thing is sure, u cannot qualify all music as dumb!!

My taste in music is very wide, i can listen music from Classic to Metal, Pop, Rock, Jazz and anything that make my soul(brain) feel good ;)

Music doesn’t seperate us from animals.. Black Palm Cockatoos use a stick and hollow tree to drum out a beat declaring territory and to attract a mate. Then there are a group of birds classified as “Song birds”..

I prefer to listen the audio ingame. The srceams from villagers in Windmoor Harbor, the haunting cry of crows in Maus and the croaking of frogs in Festerfang. They set the mood and enhance my experience. To mute that is unthinkable to me.

I wonder why music can evoke emotion. I mean..for instance..if you or I were watching a horror or thriller film it wouldn't really have the desired effect without the tense background music. Or worse, if the background music was from a comedy film or a brass band playing a march. The fast beat of Irish folk music makes me feel energetic whilst Adele makes me feel a bit down. Sigur Ros relaxes me but bores Mr. Susie.

Apparently, certain birds, elephants and humans are the only species that recognise rythmic time. I said apparently because I read it somewhere on the internet and we all know we can't believe everything we read on there.

I listen to Alltta (A little lower than the angels) on a separate device. My absolute favorites are "Disarm" & "Bucket". However, sometimes I use sound cloud and play different songs just because its much more convenient than plain YouTube.
