Lilith's Staff - Lightning Based

Hey Guys,

The new level 61-65 staves are now lightning based instead of fire based and no longer have the awesome AOE fire damage proc. It is a shame because now there is no reason to play an int bear (so I've been wearing dex gear). Does anyone know the proc/benefit of a lightning based weapon? For example, does it decrease armor or add damage, etc? Thanks for the help!

Not 100% on this, but I believe I remember reading that the lightning proc has a -armor effect. Correct me if I'm wrong

Lightning staffs don't have a proc. Trust me - I am quite disappointed as well as an int mage. Recommend putting in the suggestions a switch to ice, fire, or darkbolt staff.

Maybe darkbolt because it's unique and there haven't been any level cap darkbolt staffs in a while.
