If someone tries to sell you there account, then it's a scam because why would they sell u an account? You put ur money or stuff on their account! They dont need it if they are actually selling it!

Selling accounts is against TOS and permanent ban.

Yep, it's def a known scam and is seriously against terms and would likely result in a ban not just for the scammer but also if you attempt to sell our account. Read here (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?3866-Do-not-give-out-your-account-email-and-password!) to confirm.

Also bear in mind any gold or gear you lose being scammed in this way is normally never returned, so in addition to losing your shiney things you may also get banned. Accounts always remain the property of STS.

If you see anyone offering to buy accounts, remind them its against the terms, report them and walk away.

A couple of useful links;
beware of scamming! list of common scams (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?23590-beware-of-scamming!-list-of-common-scams)
Terms of Service (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?11694-Pocket-Legends-Terms-of-Service)
here's what they state specifically about accounts.

(h) Account and Virtual Item Ownership
You may not buy, sell, give or trade any account, nor attempt to buy, sell, give or trade any account. SPACETIME owns, has licensed, or otherwise has rights to all of the content that appears in game. You agree that you have no right or title in or to any such content, including without limitation the virtual goods or currency appearing or originating in the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, or any other attributes associated with an account. SPACETIME does not recognize any purported transfers of virtual property executed outside of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, or the purported sale, gift or trade in the "real world" of anything that appears or originates therein. You may not sell in-game items or currency for "real" money, or exchange those items or currency for value outside of the game.
