Is this still the case as I seem to be getting quite good gold loot (lvl 65) but haven't seen an arcanite chest drop yet (I'm assuming this is a rare drop)

The drop rate of the chest is very low, the gold drop is 3times less, difficulty is 3times more compared to ESG. So why play this event?
I would rather buy the chest from store and have 3x chance to get the pet/recipe.

When I read gobs of gold I thought the map is going to be dropping like 5k gold loot piles or something... Piles of 300 gold isn't a gob to me there are maps in this game that drop more gold... I thought this event was going to be like entering a treasure room in mausoleum where each pile of gold is like a lot of gold... I assumed that this map would be something to remember but it's pretty great concept though I thank you guys... Wouldn't mind this being a reoccurring event with a few tweaks and better prizes in the future.

But anyway man good for you, I think the event is for players like you who find southern seas on steroid amusing.
I just hope this doesn't become a new trend, taking existing maps and making mini events out of them, oh right I should not complaint instead I should just quit playing the game. Cool lets see if you practice what you preach (I hope there are no -ve comments about the game in your profile :)).

Are you suppose too get a Quest from Sinn ? if you are It doesn’t give me a quest it just talks on about pirates !!
and then when I press it too start it does No mention of a Quest !
Ive ran this map lots of times now & Most of the time Only the peeps who open the crates at the end get a drop from the Boss.
Also the boss always runs away and you can’t kill him ?
It needs an update Guy’s .... 🤓

The event crates are "openable" for approx. 1 sec.......

I feel like the main reason for this event is so everyone can get to cap from lvl 66 up. Buest part it you make gold doing it :) the crate drop is just a bonus. Just gives start alittle extra money in their pocket.

Squall drops 3 chests. Re-roll does not affect in-chest loot. Any of the Squall chests can result in the Arcanite chest.

I haven't farmed that hard, though anyone can farm a lot w/ total "round-trip" on event being at most 1min, and got 4 Arcanites.

P.S. Motherless, PM me if you want help w/ how to get plat chests. You can get a lot of them, especially since you can try every 2 hours. I'll be on Angel for the event, if I'm on.

A lot of gold is liquidated in this Awake event so a small Pirate booty won't hurt the economy much. New players will also gain from this event cos gold will drop even if there is no goldloot gears. And fyi, prices are less now bcos of the present Awake event

We don't need this event. The economy is already inflated so much. If you think it will do you a favour by making you some millions, believe me it will do others a bigger of a favour and make then dozens of not hundreds of millions. This event will make you some gold but it will make pay more for everything too thanks to inflation. It will make you gold, and make your gold lose even more value.
