Not sure if this is a bug or not, but when I activate the skill "Firestorm" using my mage toon, this skill automatically targets the closest mob. Firestorm is an AOE skill, so IMHO it should not trigger the targetting of any mobs. This is also a bit troublesome because on my iPhone, i have some difficulty in targetting mobs in general, so if I go to launch an attack that begins with Firestorm, I have to work in re-targetting another mob if the initial Firestorm skill did not target the intended mob.

Not to mention the fact that Firestorm, although radiating out from the caster, will effectively radiate out from the target, making it completely useless if your target is out of range, and deceptive even when your target is in range

I actually like that it works this way as inget more control over which mobs I combo on. That said, I play on an iPad 90% of the time which makes target selecting much easier.

If anything I wish I could /assist "playername" and use it even more effectively

I have no problem with it working this way - although the animation should then eminate from the target.

Does kinda annoy me that it'll cast even when the target is out of range, I can't think of any other game this would happen in.

What is it worked this way...

If no mob is targetted presently, the skill does not target a mob, but originates from the toon.

If a mob is targetted presently, the skill originates from the targetted mob (Assuming the mob is in range).

Thoughts?
