Max gold limit 999m on character?

I really request for this to be added so I don't have to have a ton of characters with 99m on every one of them.
It will help people trade when trading items 100m+ so they don't get scammed.
We don't have to worry about making alt accounts/ characters to hold the gold.
This will be extremely helpful for many people.
Would not care if it costed plat to hold that much gold.

Player limit 999m stash 999m. Please, for the sake of making trades easier when buying items 100m+.

Even do what rauitri said, make gold cap limits unlock after buying spends alots vanities.

It will overall be more efficient in terms of possesing gold and in trades.

Less scams, lessen 2x trades, easier to buy lb vanities. Although this will surely increase the price of some LB items, perhaps vanities such as Golem, Spirit etc would easily reach 999m if this gets implemented.

Another thing is this shouldn't be acquired using plat, should be a free to all change, I have another idea in mind.

Gold Top Hat = +100m gold cap

Gold Hat + Monocle = +150m gold cap

Solid Gold = +250m gold cap

Baron = +400m gold cap

This way it will result to an extreme gold sink. But I don't know, instantly changing it to 1B is better.

Server space shouldn't be the problem, because whats the difference between storing 100m in several alts as suppose to just accumulate them in 1?

Anyways the economy is growing at a rapid rate, so this change is somehow necessary.

Well, if they add 250m as a limit I would have to use 3-4 characters instead of lots.

To deal with this same issue I have been using encrusted vanitys. I try to buy as close to their 1m inventory liquidation price as I can. I store those in stash/inventory and liquidate when need the gold.

Pros:
-Allows you to store 500m extra gold on one character.
-Gold is safe, due to 1m liquidation price, can get gold out any time .
Cons:
-Very limited supply, hard to get a lot of them.

I suggest this as a temporary fix:
Give the option to buy encrusted vanitys direct from spendalot with small sir charge. Example 1.05m to buy one etc. but it still liquidates to your bag for 1m.
**Wishlist** Add a second tier to encrusted that sell to inventory for 10m or even higher.

If inventory slots were limited to 1 then everyone would want them to increase. Reason many people don't want gold cap to increase is because its not an issue to them yet. Once they hit 400m+ gold then I bet they would be here requesting an increase. Whats the point of having many characters to hold gold instead of just one.

I would like to use it on some lb vanities, but most people want pure gold. You know how hard it is to find someone who won't scam you.
What if someone has 180m pure gold and wants to buy a lb vanity say frank vest, they can't buy it because you can only trade 99m and the seller wants pure gold. Buyer can't add 80m of items because all he has is 180m.

This is something that has been requested a long time but sts never considered putting this in the game, its the same like making alerts for sold item in auction also never seen in the game i hope they change this in the expansion

well, just my opinion.It wouldn't have an effect, people already save gold on their toons. Increasing the gold cap would just make purchases and moving things easier. Most people don't specifically save gold they just gain it, they don't waste it either. This is why you see millionaires and billionaires in real life, they gain but not waste, it doesn't mean they don't spend.

There is too much gold in the game, not many gold sinks and the inflation is so high that the trades are above the game decided caps. Devs need to put a account wide gold cap and remove the access gold from the game.
