Stupid hardcore deaths

I tried hardcore for the first time. Leveled up to 29 and died because of a phone call. I let it pass.
The second time I leveled up to 45. My toon is a hardcore lb warrior and I died trying to fulfill flagging aps. No attacks from opponent, no obstructions at all. I take flag and it instantly drained out my health and I died.

So I demand an explanation. You put a stupid aps there and I died for no reason at all and all my hardwork went down the drain. Is this supposed to be a joke?

... you know the consequences of dying as a hardcore character, it's explained before you even make one, and you have to play to 71 before you can, so you should mostly know the game. If you don't want to take the risk, don't do that content. If you can't deal with permadeath, don't play hardcore. There's the demanded explanation.

I put my phone on "do not disturb" mode. I'm happy to start over no matter how many times my character dies because it's fun and it's not boring. I do agree that cannon deaths should be addressed and although I wouldn't bother with the flags, if it's a glitch well that should be sorted. I pity the person who made that phonecall to OP.

I think what he mean is .. how can a flag can kill you??? .. is it a live? Is it a living thing? Or is it a bug? What kind of flag is that?

You don't instantly die, but you do take damage over time while holding it. There is a bug here, but it's that the dot isn't working at level 57+.

We all know hardcore is hard. We just need incentive to start over or to revive for 1600 plat. Maybe give some vanity to our mains on certain levels to keep us going at it.

If it's scaling to your level and you go in massively undergeared then I'd understand why you would instantly die holding a flag.

STA doesn't have to give us something for playing hardcore mode they already did (hardcore mode was givin) lol.

It's hardcore mode it's not supposed to be easy or not everyone will make it. I understand dieing sucks I hate it, that's why I main a war and have as low as I can KDR.

switching banners I do agree but to give anything to us like vanities is not warranted it's just silly to ask for.

It's a small percentage of max health each second. It's not instant for anyone (unless already very hurt when picking it up).

Nope. Wasn't damaged. Went with full health. Came back dead within 2-3 seconds of holding flag
