I lay down the grave of my first iPod, that has served me well for exactly one year, bought on last year's Black Friday, and perished today.
Yes, I chose to BURN it.
This is the end of the PL Journey for this iPod, as well as all the secrets and data in side of it.
The End of One. Thank you and Farewell, my friend.
Oh, I just wanted to say.
I was actually 99.9% sure that my iPod was dead and hopeless from PL. Apparently, sometimes hope is still there, and look what happened.
However, as insisted, I went to the Genius Bar at an Apple Store, as a final effort, because my one year warranty expires today. It turns out that the iPod wasn't water damaged. It's Sleep Button was simply a factory defect, and would eventually start going haywire. The Genius there gave me a free replacement, and so starts a new iPod and companion, a continuing to my PL adventures, and a happy ending.
And here goes my 100% restoration file encrypted with 27-character password saved onto iTunes being downloaded into "Luke's iPod."
See ya in game.
