The Gifts Grotto also returns! Get the Portal Hunter elixir from Skipper the Elf. Adventure in the Winter Festival zones to spawn a portal to the Gifts Grotto.
+ Portal elixir is 10 Platinum, lasts for half an hour
+ Gifts Grotto is loaded with 'gifts' full of gold!

While in the Gifts Grotto zone you may spawn the evil Killjoy! Defeat him to loot:
+ Deluxe animated 'Dark Angel' wings
+ Deluxe animated 'Golden' wings
+ New 'Ugly Sweater' vanity item (gives bonus speed and 20% bonus gold loot)!
+ New 'Trail of Lights' streaming back item!

Event starts at 1:30pm on Saturday the 22nd and runs to 1:30pm on December 25th!
+ Killjoy and the Toy Man have summoned BLIZZARAX the FROST DEMON to freeze the realm!
+ Enter the frosty fissure (you can also Host / Join from the Legendary Events campaign) to face Blizzarax.
+ Score points to earn a victory tier! 5k for Bronze (Merry Christmas), 15k for Silver, 50k for Gold!

So excited and we get a winter Leader board event as well this year.

Again thank you for your efforts Cinco and his team. You keep creating events and content for us to keep the game alive. We do appreciate all your hard work and efforts.

I was hoping the winter event had a gold tier of 35K points considering it runs for only 4 days during the festive time of when people are busy with real life commitments with friends and family.

Question: Spawning the boss BLIZZERAX will consist of an elixir? of 10 plat for 10 mins? or how much?

Yo you should change the look of the pets add something new give people more options even down to the background colors in your profile we should have a better variety to choose from and even the character faces on bird bear and mage are the same from 8 years ago its the little things that matter everything is being re-used man the last event got redundant pretty fast

Gonna be hard for a lot of people to grind points and farm on Christmas Eve and Christmas day. 2 of the 3 days of the 3 day event are on days a lot of us will be spending with family. Sounds like a good event, definitely nice to see a leaderboard event with a boss other than myxx. Too bad a lot of us won't get too much time to play it :(

From my understanding of the preview Gleam can be farmed from the boss BLIZZERAX.

Tinsel a reward that can be purchased from the vendor.
Will there be a gold and platinum version? and for how much gold or platinum?
Is Tinsel a Gold Tier reward purchase only?

Both. Any PvE map should cause the portal hunter elixir to count down, making it count down when you're hunting for a portal and when you are inside grotto.

My name is Pocket legendsI highly suggest keeping up with the forums here. I believe the green gimal was explained in the update announcement that implement the ring.

Things that were common sense previous caps are long forgotten. Asking around about the most efficient way to make gold from platinum would have done you a great deal of justice. You can make a ridiculous amount of gold farming with platinum, and could have gotten your Dev dragons for less than 2k.

In my opinion pets have really ruined the pve aspect of the game for me. It's pretty much the same as a game of slots with people just spamming skills to see if they win a prize. As opposed to learning to play their roles, and utilizing class combos and teamwork. It's created a new generation of players that rely on stats from an item that never previously had them. Stats that are typically better than the best sets in the game.

Plenty of people capped just fine before warbird was released, now a good deal of people won't even run mad mage maps without 1 or 2 warbirds in the team.

I understand your frustrations because you spent Plat to purchase your Dev Dragons.

But also be mindful the game is constantly updating and improving. New gear, new vanity sets, new pets will alway be introduced in the future and super seed older items. We just have to learn to adapt to the changes and embrace them for the better.
