Why when I try do post a blog it wont let me? Do I need to be a member for longer?

I believe you just need to post more, it still says you're a new member. Most likely that's why.

To your signature, there is no green thumbs up button :P there is a pale and a Blue one.

You could change your title for forums to blogger. Do this via settings when logged in

The "Create Post" in the blog section seems darkened out for some reason. It doesn't mean you can't start a blog post though. Go ahead and click it, it should lead you to making your blog post :)

If that's what you mean by not being able to make a blog post, that is. Not aware of any post count requirement to activate blogging.
